Great bio pic movie review on The Five Heartbeats! I enjoyed watching this and this is one of my all time favorite movies. This movie is a cult classic and I love every scene of it. Keep up the good work as always and hope you do more bio pics on your channel. Once again a great movie review bro!

This is one of my favorite movies & i would watch my cousin recite this movie line for line. Here are some facts: Denzel Washington was Robert Townsend’s first choice to play Eddie Kane, the late Whitney Houston was his first choice to play Baby Doll, Keenen Ivory Wayans was supposed to play JT, Damon Wayans was supposed to play Choirboy, David Alan Grier was supposed to play Dresser & Vanessa Williams was supposed to play Dresser’s girlfriend. The studio wanted Robert Townsend to remove the scene where him and his sister were singing & the scene when Eddie & Baby Doll sung i feel like going on. Cookie was played by Kasi Lemmons. She was also in School Daze, Silence Of The Lambs, Candyman, The Drop Squad & Gang Related. She also directed Eve’s Bayou & I Wanna Dance With Somebody. She’s married to actor/director Vondie Curtis Hall. He was in Coming To America, The Drop Squad, Sugar Hill (1994), Gridlockd & Eve’s Bayou. He also directed Eve’s Bayou & Waist Deep.

What would you say if their a modern version of the Five Heartbeats and this time it will be center on a fictional 90s boy band?

I was going to say Boyz II Men, but I think the remake (if there was one) should focus on Jodeci.

@@jgmusic97 it could be based on the Jackson 5, New Edition, NKOTB, Boyz ll Men, and Backstreet Boys. I wrote a script three weeks ago.
