My son is 8 years old and he's been taught about Christianity( I'm more agnostic). His mother would take him to church, I take him with me to my supervisors church( he's active in it and invites me). Recently, had a discussion with a friend about religion and our kids. When I mentioned to my son there's other religions we came about that we'll research religions together to know more of them. Even waving to a car that lets you merge into traffic can put a smile on someone's face. Being kind doesn't cost anything. Next time you give a homeless person a dollar, ask their name. As an Orthodox Christian (Original Christianity) I don't think their description of Christianity was that spot on...not saying it was so unbiased it was inaccurate, but there was quite a bit left out. Either way, it is what it is.. :)

So many Christians forget that sentence. They'll judge each other based on their sins and how non Christians live their lives. Everytime i hear or see someone spitting random bible verses to prove that someone else is wrong, i just want to tell them story about what Jesus said and did to a sinner who overpayed people's taxes. He told him to come and sit down with him, and preached love and peace, not once did he say a bible verse that would target/attack what that man did to prove what he did is wrong. I am no longer a Christian knowing what they can be like, but i respect those who still are who preach and practice nothing but kindness. I hope you have a wonderful day Mr or Ma'am ❤️

All we are asked to do is obey god loyaly, pray and give to the poor. I see no downside there 3. The prophet peace be upon him was sent to perfect morals in humans 4. more scientific stuff such as there is a beginning to the universe and that the universe is expanding exist in the quran. 5. This video claims Lord Krishna to be the starting point of Hinduism / _Sanatana Dharma_ , which is totally *incorrect* In fact, he is the 2nd last of the _Dashavataras_ ( 10 avatars ) of Vishnu, with his departure marking the end of Kali Yuga. but Islam fails by this one thing: The quran teaches that it is the "last revelation of God" which makes no sense because the Torah, Tenakth and Gospels tells us that anything that comes after the Gospels, is a false gospel, and the quran IS a false gospel. Jesus said, "but even Satan comes as an angel of light", which ties very deeply to islam because muhammad 'received' a revelation from 'allah' through an 'angel', 600 years after Christ. Plus you might say that the Bible has been 'corrupted', but truly this also fails because the quran says that God's word cannot be corrupted, in which the Torah, Tanakth and Gospels were/are the word of God in this respect. If you truly studied other people's religions then you would not be a muslim, but this is excused by you because you have a heart of stone and are forced to stay in islam according to your quran and hadiths: "whoever leaves islam, kill them".

I'm not a Buddhist but I like this quote of the Buddha which he told to a clan of common people called the Kalamas ," Don’t blindly believe what I say. Don’t believe me because others convince you of my words. Don’t believe anything you see, read, or hear from others, whether of authority, religious teachers or texts.” Buddha's words were quite unique and seem logical to me. I like the philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita ( Hinduism) as well. I find these two philosophies profound and practical; no angels, no superstition; it's all about mental-discipline and doing whatever your work is based on your profession which does good to the society and to yourself. Can be appreciated from atheistic point of view as well.

Because actually they all believe in the same God, at least for Christianity, Judaism and Islam. They believe in the same Message, the major prophets, and they depend on each other. For example Christianity; which is the follower religion of Judaism, believes in the Old Testament which refers to Jews, but Jews don't believe in the New testament as well as in Quran. Following Christianity, Islam came to believe in the message, Holy books, and the majority of prophets of Judaism as well as Christianity, while it also believes that the Torah and Bible were corrupted by human editing through time, and the Quran was revealed to correct those contradictions and misconceptions and to be the final preserved holy book for the whole human being. While Christianity does not believe in Islam as the following religion. The main difference between Muslims and Christians is that christians believe in Jesus as a Son of God/God, while Muslims believe that Jesus is a Messenger of God who has no father. Actually Arianism; which was one of the popular doctrines of christianity had a lot of similarities to Islam, and it is said that it was the correct faith of christianity at that time.

Very nice video! As a muslim, i was wondering about how the other world religions are like (aspecially bhudism and hinduism). You seem to capture the (seemingly) peaceful aspects of each religion without prejudices. Hopefully everyone who watches this becomes more open minded torwards other religions and cultures and meet other people with respect. Thanks a lot !

Im an Orthodox Christian but the way you talk about these religions they all seem nice.And what I understood is that in Judaism Christianity and Islam people practicly believe in the same God just with the differences that in Judaism they don't believe He has come to earth in any form,in Christianity they believe in the Holy Trinity (Father,Son,Holy Spirit)and in Islam they believe from what I heard that Jesus was just a prophet,and after him came Muhhamad who was the last and most important prophet,but they actually all come from the same God!I find that very interesting the common history of these religions and if people could see that i think there would be a lot less hatred as the common meaning(from my understanding) is love.Lets focus on that.Also Hinduism and Budhism are very intersting and their main message seams very similar:be kind and loving to find true peace.So awesome that despite all our deferencies as humans our religions arive at the same message:Love!

Progyan Das Hurt, anger, grief, regret.. such emotions are emotions we focus on because they are important to try to avoid.. they tend to be associated with trauma of some form. It's why the moments we feel such emotions strongest are the moments etched in our memories.. but they don't blot out the rest.. and they are not the majority of a lifetime.. It can certainly feel that way, but it isn't. The same goes for people. Just because we aren't loud, hurtful, and toxic to be around doesn't mean we're not in the majority.. ;) Try to keep that in mind next time someone toxic loudly tries to hurt people.. and step up if you can.. You are not alone, but since most people aren't fans of the spotlight, or being targets.. most people just wait for things to solve themselves and go away.. They are worried they would have to stand alone.. Insecurity makes a lot of people back off when they shouldn't, and often rather wouldn't. You don't have to stand alone.. just remember not to make others stand alone either.. ;)

Actually, a correction. Hinduism didn't actually start with lord Krishna, he was one of the incarnation of lord Vishnu, who is the the maintainer of the universe..these lessons of life were taught by every deity a hindu worships, lord krishna just compiled it for Arjuna during mahabharat. Infact it was after mahabharat that the kalyug or the modern age started.
