Joshua Schley I think iris died and everything, and then when Barry faces Savitar for it in the finale he'll create all those time remnants. However, since Savitar kills all but one remnant (since that remnant will have to become Savitar after Barry and the team shuns him), Barry will kill that remnant, breaking the loop, and undo everything since savitar came into the show. Including iris's death. I refuse to believe that all season long (well half actually), they've harped on Iris's death only to fulfill it. Think about the countless times they've shown that scene. How many times they've mentioned it. It would be the worst decision for a show to go through with it. So, since everything's in loop, Barry will kill the time remnant that becomes Savitar, just like zoom did his. Also, all the talk between Barry and Captain Cold about being a killer, and Barry doing things immoral wasn't for nothing. it's gonna happen. Just watch

I don't see how killing Savitar would stop him from having already killed Iris. Everything he has done up to that point should still happen (Just like with Reverse Flash). The only thing I could see it happening is because they erased Barry's memories and Wally didn't have any powers anymore so obviously things could change. Levi HD Because they're all in a paradoxical time loop right now, if Barry just killed Savitar, it probably wouldn't change anything. But he'll kill the version of him before that remnant becomes Savitar. So basically he'll be breaking the loop by doing so, this time preventing any of the second half of season 3 from happening. Eddie was a descendant of Thawne, not Thawne himself. Think it like turning back time, rather than going back in time

Here is my theory, Barry will run back in time to point where he gets Reverse Flash to kill his mother. He will then run forward in time to the end of Flashpoint at which point he will run back in time to the beginning of Flashpoint where he saved his mother. At that point he will run forward in time to the end of season 2 where he was out on the porch. Barry will walk back into the house and everybody will be happy happy happy!

Here's my prediction: Julian and HR came up with a plan on their own. They bring back Jesse to switch Hr and Iris, while Julian goes to make sure Cisco doesn't lose his hands. He and Cisco have probably been working on a means to dampen the powers so Kaitlyn can come back again.

It was HR. He tracked Iris's position using Savitar's claw thingy and used the face change to look like Iris. He felt horrible about how useless he was and it was all his fault that Savitar knew where Iris was and at his last appearance, he told Cisco till next time and looked at the Savitar claw. Also in the original flashback HR was holding a gun aiming at Savitar but in this one he wasn't there. Notice how she said Barry but she didn't say I love you. She only said I love you when he accidentally went to the future and Cisco vibe Barry and Wally to the future.

To me a satisfying ending would be Barry accepting that this time HE is the time remnant. This season could have hinted toward ir all along. All he'd need to do would be to accept his fate and his loss and go take his place into the speedforce. No more Barry, no more Savitar, the loop is broken. Savitar said that the more you mess with time the less the rules apply to you. I figure he meant that he is a remnant in so many points in time that he planted the seeds of his becoming all over the place. So the only solution I can think of is the same the show has used all the time : "speedforce bullshit"

I believe the 1 thing that still needs to happen in order for Savitar to be born that he's keeping secret is Barry creating the time remnants. Barry created time remnants to stop Savitar which not only didn't work in defeating him but actually created Savitar as the 1 time remnant left alive became Savitar. So my thought is if Barry doesn't create those time remnants then Savitar will not be born.

Idk if they read comments a lot, but they most likely didn't put Iris in the Argus because Savitar can easily overpower the power dampeners they have. In episode 2, The Rival was locked up in a meta cell, and Savitar got in an out, although he wasn't a physical being at the time, he was pure speed force. But in this episode, he used the philosopher stone to overpower something with something that has more energy than the sun as its power source, he could easily overpower Argus' power dampeners they have.
