A lot of their epic moments were stolen from Wally and Linda in the comics (the superior ship), just like how Barry got a handful of Wally's major villains. Snowbarry was a really cute ship with tons of chemistry and great development. The writers shot themselves in the foot when they gave us SB more ammo by making WA siblings (it doesn't matter that they share no dna, the fact that they grew up in the same house, calling the same man their father - WHICH THEY CONTINUE TO DO AS IF IT'S NOT TOTALLY WEIRD - and are legally siblings makes me, and others when they hear about it, beyond uncomfortable).

Lerato madlala because the entire premise of the show is Barry's relationship with Iris? Yeah,no. It's actually a testament of how good the other characters and the parts of the show *not* revolving around WA are that they *almost* make up for how cringe-worthy and forced the main couple is, because if it was just about WA then the show would have been cancelled after season 4, maybe even season 3. Hell, if it wasn't because WA is together in a lot (but not all of) the comics they wouldn't have made it past the first few dates since Iris and Barry have next to nothing in common, except being forced into each others lives as foster siblings since they were 11 which is the only reason Iris even remembers Barry's name as we saw in Flashpoint. Also, if you like WA why are you watching a Snowbarry video in the first place? Stop trying to cause more trouble in the fandom and stick to WA videos.

I think people tend to forget that the hype around season 3 was real during the Killer Frost arc, aka 3x02-3x07. They did such a good job building that up people thought it was amazing and the Killer Frost episode is considered one of the best in the series outside of season 1. The love for season 3 fell apart in 3x09 when the let’s stop Iris from dying arc was introduced. When Killer Frost returned towards the end of the season some of the hype was brought back and Savitar could've been one of the best villains the show had if they had spent more time on him, especially him and KF. Grant and Danielle's chemistry, and the original trio, sells. The ratings prove it. The more they put the three together the higher the rating always are. The more they focus on Iris the lower the ratings are, aka Girl's Night Out and Run Iris Run from season 4 (and all of season 4 really) being the lowest rated episodes in the series run. Hopefully the people in charge will take note of that fact and start making some changes lol personally for me though I liked season 3, like you said it had problems, a lot of them, but there was some amazing Snowbarry moments.

Kendall Miller Yes I agree and your right I did for get the hype with Killer frost. I still think they should of gone with a darker story line with Killer frost. Like what if in season 3 episode 5 (Where cait's mom is showned) Gerland captures Caitlin and experiments on her to see what makes her tick. After weeks of being tourchered, Caitlin becomes alone and her heart becomes cold. She escapes and kills Gerlade, then Cait discovers she needs heat to surrvie (Like in the comics like she needs to kill in order to get surrive) . Beging her Journey to being Killer frost. It's a great sagway to become a villain for Cait for what they came up with.

To be fair to Iris, I took her current awkwardness around Nora as just her not knowing HOW to be a mother, since her own mother was a drug addict who left Iris and Joe. On the Dibny subject, I also hope they don't make Dibny/Caitlin a thing (even though I would prefer it to Julian and even Ronnie), but I do still like Dibny. Favorite Dibny moment was when he asked why Eddie didn't just get a vasectomy if he wanted to stop Reverse-Flash. On Nora, I have very conflicting feelings. I think as a character she's adorable and is a good addition personality-wise, but I despise the plot device she represents (using a future child to force WestAllen even more).

I...I just realized something horrible. Based on what I've heard, the Crisis event in the comics was basically all of the multiverses either dying or converging into one single universe. So the multiverse will most likely cease to exist after season 6. And that means...that any of the multiverse worlds where Snowbarry exists will be erased from existence! GOD DAMN IT!!! The writers will wipe out millions of parallel universes but you can bet your @$$ that they won't touch their 'perfect couple'! Cait/Frost was right about the writers. "You got WestAllen. How sad is it that this went from one of my favourite shows to having to wait for your's and TeamForwoods reaction videos to see if an episode is even worth watching anymore. My thoughts after seeing your video: So Barry says knowing too much about the timeline could erase Nora out of existence...so Iris grills her about the future? Still great journalist hearing there Iris. Once again, the rules don't apply to Iris and no-one calls her on it. And seriously the look of disappointment on her face when Nora doesn't blink at either Journalist or Cop (which were the two careers Iris' mentioned wanting to pursue in previous seasons) but blinking at CSI...why would she assume that Nora would pursue the 'West' careers? I mean Nora is as much Barry daughter as Iris', and it was pretty clear that Nora very much got her fathers quick mind, so why did she assume that Nora would pursue the same career as her mother? Though isn't it funny how once again Iris tries and fails to have an actual worthwhile conversation with someone other than Barry or Joe *and* Nora even pointed out one of Iris' (many) flaws from last season in particular: Iris goes off to do her own thing, usually dragging Barry along for WA scenes, leaving Cisco and Caitlin to pretty much carry the actual work of the team. Though at least this time Barry was actually spared so he could actually do the work he used to do a lot more of before Iris was unemployed and got bored while waiting for Caitlin and Cisco to fix everything. Thank-you, Nora, for being a woman with enough sense and courage to point it out! And Iris face, I think was less mentioning Caitlin and Cisco and more pointing out that *they* were actually working their asses off, on very little if any sleep apparently, while Iris was once again slacking off and yet probably still calling herself 'leader'. And seriously, Iris reaction to how close Nora is with her dad, when Iris herself is so close with Joe is...worrying really. There should not be that amount of jealousy towards your own child, even if you've only just met her. Red flag right there, but not something new when it comes to Barry loving any woman as much as Iris, hell even his memory of his mother wasn't safe from Iris' ire. As for the Ralph knowing about KF being a part of Caitlin since childhood, as much as it would have been a good scene to try and reassert Barry as more than just a phone in friend that he's been to Caitlin and Cisco since mid season 3-ish, I think this is possibly the writers way of both trying to bring Ralph into the narrative more organically as both an investigator and the Elongated Man, but also maybe having it be something brought up later on. Possibly something similar to Ralph not realising about the multiverse which everyone else knew about, maybe they'll have Barry (and by extension probably Iris, who will be 'why wouldn't you tell *me* ?) not knowing about Cisco's vibe about KF and maybe it being a wake-up call that not only had he been focusing so much on his and Iris' problems of the week/season but that while Cisco and Caitlin will drop everything else going on in their own lives to help Barry he hasn't really been there for them even a fraction of what they, OTF and the fans deserve. Though I do give props to Ralph for actually looking into her father's death certificate for Caitlin without being asked to, he just looked into it because he's her friend and since his other investigation wasn't going, he looked for something else to do instead of phoning it in. A less class clown Ralph is an improvement since he'll be getting even more screen time. I say no to him and Caitlin dating...*EVER* , but I'm ok with Ralph being a friend to Caitlin and Cisco, especially if the writers use the opportunity to have Barry realise some home-truths he's been ignoring since season 3, mainly that Cisco and Caitlin are awesome friends that he's been sorely neglecting for WA drama. Though something I am reasonably sure of, given the writing of this show: Whatever NoraJr's grievances with Iris, they will be glossed over or completely forgiven by Nora after Iris makes a 'heartfelt' speech about...who knows really, maybe knowing about the future being enough to change it...because her whole relationship with Barry isn't more or less hinged on 'destiny' and how their relationship is concrete because the future article...which they're trying to change...again. I don't think they'll let NoraJr not like Iris for long, simply because it will anger WA shippers who are under the delusion that Iris can do no wrong. I also have the feeling that Cicada may end up killing NoraJr, maybe even having NoraJr sacrifice herself to save either Iris, in a tangible way of showing Iris is forgiven, or to protect her dad. Not rooting for it, since Nora seems nice if a bit selfish for changing the entire timeline for the whole world just to see her dad and save him, thereby changing everybody's future and shows how little she's actually learnt from Barry's past...huh, maybe there is some Iris in her afterall.

R Emm Yeah, I’ve gotten bored of this shows repetitive storytelling structure, frankly. They’ve pushed another male team member onto Caitlin, first ‘Jay’, then Julian, and now Ralph, ALL because they just can’t have Barry and Caitlin alone anymore. And I’ll admit this episode was probably one of the best in the last year, the show has gone way too meta and doesn’t feel organic like it did the first 2 seasons. Now it’s all about making jokes, unnecessary WA pep talks, and the team standing in a circle. What gets me is that the ones who really did all the thinking and work in this episode were Cisco, Caitlin, and Wally, yet WA soaks up the glory. Iris stood there and after all of Cisco and Caitlin’s brainstorming, her big contribution was Ok let’s get this done. I hope the rumors are true she’s going back to reporting, because her standing in the lab is really stumping that aspect of the show.

Because we are scared on how they will treat the original team Flash and make it the Iris show ._. And don’t want to give our ratings cause if ratings go up then Iris will never leave. But ya it’s sad ._. Season 1 will forever be the best season ever

By this point in ANY series, rating rarely go up. I think the showrunners had a great plan for Season 1, then managed to recycle the same overarching plot for Season 2 with a bunch of entertaining episodes, but by Season 3, got stuck in the rut of telling the same story over and over again. Even when they say they are going to do something different, it feels like smoke-blowing.

drlee2 It's pretty much confirmed Iris will go back to reporting, but since she seems to mainly write about the Flash and her idea of doing research is getting team Flash to tell her everything so she can get the info literally no-one else can, I think she'll still be there a lot, probably still considering herself the leader at the same time. She's even getting her own villain in 'Spin' but given what we've heard about Spin she seems to be somewhat similar to Iris herself as she (from what I've heard anyway) captured/controls a meta who creates disasters/chaos that she then reports on to boost her web-presence as a blogger/reporter. I do hope they're not going to use it as a way to show 'heroic Iris'...oh who am I kidding they try to show it every season in less and less likely ways so why should this season be any different. My only hope is for Caitlin and Cisco's storylines and that they don't nerf anyone else to try and boost Iris up to try (and lets face it fail) and make her seem relevant to the team/show.

sher bear I've been worried about OTF since season 3, and the writers haven't done anything to make me feel more secure for my favourite characters, instead, they've actually made it worse. Here's hoping by the end of this season, they send Iris away as a 'foreign correspondent' after her and Barry's divorce. At least then we both won't have to see her as a plot device that calls herself 'the leader' and she might actually accomplish something on her own instead of everything so far which is almost exclusively because of Barry and the team.

What if Iris had Nora, but before then, she and Barry got a divorce. (Going on a limb here) Maybe Iris didn't care much for Nora and she had to spend more time with Caitlin, and when Barry disappears, Iris tries to remember him by taking Nora back, but that caused a fight between Cait and Iris and she ended up with Cait. That's why she has Cait's choker. Remember that moment in s4? That's probably also why she avoids Iris.

Nora didn't vanish because she was born AFTER he disappears and remember the future takes time to set as explained in the DC legends show so there won't be any big changes until it gets closer to the actual event they are foreshadowing. The reason the changes to saving his mom happens so fast was cause since it was a critical point in the timeline it has to change him from that exact moment because its the past not the future. This time they have time to fix it and stop him from disappering or changing to much of the timeline

Overall this episode I thought was good, not great but good, which i suppose isn't a hard standard to hit after last season. The phasing of the plane was boss and the Dr. Wells Flash back was awesome! Hope we get more of things like that. And I'll forgive Barry for this episode for not saying really anything to the rest of the team because he was really trying to handle damage control for most of it until for some reason he thinks it's now a good idea for Nora to stay?? No she really shouldn't stay, that's a very bad idea. I mean, I like Nora a lot. I don't trust her but I like her. But come on Barry the longer she stays the more things could get totally wrecked, but hey if that lets us avoid an awful WA future sure why not. Let's wreck it. But in the coming episodes he better stop acting like they don't exist or I'm just gonna be so over this Barry Allen. As for Caitlin, I'm super excited she's getting a main arc this season. Like you know how awesome it is that they're treating Barry and Caitlin as the *Main* characters? Aka main protagonists, which are defined as characters who the story follows and that drive the plot around them. That makes her and Barry the leading lady and leading man of the show, those titles go to the protagonists. Everyone else just rolling with the plot and are effected by it but don't effect it are called deurotagonists. Just another parallel. And Caitlin is sure driving a plot, the Arrowverse better keep it's eyes on her story. If she was a meta since birth or was created sometime in her childhood, she might not be the only one. Her plotline this season could change everything we know about metas and the earth-1 universe this season and that's exciting!

@@planuts976 Marketing someone as a major character is different than them being a protagonist. It's like saying Iris is the leader of team Flash or that WestAllen is the gold standard couple without doing anything to prove it. Actions speak louder and all. Say what you want but in terms of actual plot and storytelling terms Nora nor Iris is a protagonist. Nora is a duerotagonist as she is a major player in Barry's story but since we're still following Barry's POV in that plot he remains the protagonist of the main storyline (the show is still the Flash after all, as much as they like to pretend otherwise sometimes). Iris is a tritagonist at most being only affected by the plot around her and responding, then at worst she's written as a plot device. Now some characters can switch positions like Caitlin who this season seems like she will switch from duerotagonist (an effecting player in Barry's storyline by helping stop metas, etc) and a protagonist for the other main plotline going on this season which is her Killer Frost arc. And since we follow her POV in that arc that makes her the protagonist. And other characters can be protagonists of their own subplots but this Killer Frost arc is considered a main plotline so thus this season Caitlin is a main protagonist and since no other woman on this show is a main protagonist the title of leading lady should probably be Caitlin's.

Yeah, I think this episode seemed so much better put together than most of Season 4 and avoided the stupid jokes that it’s getting overpraised. Still better than most of Season 4, but the show is just a different animal now. The team no longer feels like a group of unique individuals, but instead a bunch of Flash groupies, and that’s all courtesy of the shoehorning of Iris because the writer’s way of masking Iris’ ignorance and lack of utility to the team is by mixing her in with the smart people so she seems as smart as them. Every single character in that lab had major science input to the convo that led to stopping the meta EXCEPT Iris. Her input was filler questions and counting down. Team leader my ass.
