This looks cool, but there’s hella stuff wrong with it by it’s own logic. Firstly, they explicitly state that speed and cold are complete opposites to each other, which is why Snart was an actual threat to Barry on multiple occasions, and why the cold gun was created in the first place. Secondly, in Season 4 Episode 15 “Enter Flashtime” when Barry grabs Frost, she says “so this is what heat feels like” because it’s hurting her. And thirdly, Frost doesn’t have a speed force like Barry, Thawne, or Zoom had to prevent them from dying due to the kinetic energy. As soon as she started running she should’ve burned up like in Season 4.

yea, Barry once suffer from her kiss of death and is about to be frozen and he uses speed to generate heat to get out of it. Also, they say that cold can kill even black flash. so her running should have canceled out her cold? or the heat is generate inside while the cold is outside? I don't think anybody can just inject velocity 9 and gain speed, like what you said hmmm...but i still do enjoy the scene though because for me i don't care how much sense they are making anymore since there are other stuff i dun like that it's still going on so i just watch for entertainment. the reasoning aside, i do enjoy this scene as it shows how powerful speedsters are, even with her cold powers, she know she need speed to deal with speed. realistically, given how fast Barry can move he should be incredibly hard to stop, but they always shows Barry miss to catch a certain villain or whatever. Only when they are an opponent (Reverse and Zoom) do they show how much a threat speedster are. Also, I like killer front and i feel she has been under used, given her powers and that she has been there from the start, its like her presence is not felt sometimes. So it's cool that she got this scene. Also it just is an fun combination to watch ice & speedster. Caitlin vs Barry. Also, let's just say she can use her ice powers, why does she build a wall of ice knowing he can run through it? why not just blast him with a cold energy. That should enable her to win.

Most of this is inaccurate. Cold and heat are opposites, yes, but she wouldn’t die from using v-9/velocity-x. And I don’t believe it was hurting her, but rather just draining her very quickly as she’s never used super speed at that point in time, so her body couldn’t handle it. We know it doesn’t hurt her because in a future episode they are in flashtime for much longer, to stop the people from dying when Barry trained both frost and davoe in flashtime to get their powers used to it, and not once did she mention it hurting, only how she couldn’t keep it up for long. And she never died or had any residual build up of Kinnetic energy. Also, she has had speedforce technically in her system (the first time of course being when the bomb when off) meaning now when she takes v9/vx her body still has traces of it left which allows her to not die or receive injuries from using that speed. The v9/vx simply enhances that speedforce in her system temporarily, giving her access to her speed.

Is there any visual or audio difference in the way they represent super speed in this scene compared to others? Now of course, I would already know about this difference between real speed force and "velocity" serum if I actually watched and cared about this show, but I stopped after season 1. However, if Barry is still fast enough that time slows down significantly and cover large distances in an instant, there is absolutely nothing to suggest he has gotten any slower at all. He even seems to be faster than the velocity user as he is still able to evade her attacks and deal a critical hit, but he loses because she has help from someone else he didn't notice was there. Please, it doesn't matter one bit if the writers intentionally included the line to explain to fans why the velocity user is able to keep up at all against a faster speed force user. They still didn't communicate well enough with the effects team to portray that Flash isn' t as fast as usual.
