@@passionsquietrage Uhh yeah this episode was great. Lots of season 1 vibes, nostalgia in this episode. Matt was great as reverse flash as always and shows he should of been there always. It was great all around. Me and my Brother loved it and we have basically been talking over all of season 9 at this point. This episode actually had us paying attention for once. We knew Barry stops himself, but seeing everything right before that moment actually makes that scene a bit better. Its a great way to start the last 4 episode arc of flash. Loved it.

If you remember at the end of Season 8, we saw the Cobalt Blue crystal in Mercury Lab - Year 2049 of Earth-Prime. Mercury Lab is where "Eddie" works at, and the Cobalt Blue crystal was doing shit throughout the episode. When the Guard gives the badge to "Eddie" at the beginning of episode, you can just barely make out the name on the badge being Malcolm Gilmore, it's visible only for a single frame when it goes in-focus and Eddie moves his finger that's covering the name just slightly before camera goes out of focus, in the comics Malcolm is the real name of Cobalt Blue. It'd be quite impossible for a random person in Earth-Prime's future to look exactly like Eddie but have no relations to Thawnes so I think it's relatively safe to assume that Malcolm is in fact Eddie from Season 1 but with a complete memory loss of who he used to be, and now the Negative Speedforce is bringing his memories back.

I also believe this cause its only a 4 episode arc, way too little time to introduce a whole new character and reveal more of Eddie's past and why we never knew of his "brother" Malcolm. I believe its either Eddie on Earth 2 or in the future without his memories.

That is Malcolm Gilmore, a direct relative of Eobard Thwane's ancestors, who in the comics is related to Barry Allen and became the supervillain known as Colbat Blue. In the comics, his source of power is the blue crystal that gives off flames to steal super speed from speed force users, but it seems they are pulling off a twist which shows Malcolm getting hit by the Negative Speed Force with chemicals, in 2049 identical to the night Barry got struck by lightning.

The negative speedforce is not the villian, Eddie thawne is (Or presumed to be "Malcom Thawne"" is supposedly supposed to be "Cobalt Blue" from the future. But the Negative Speedforce isn't the villian. And the Negative speedforce avatar is actually Cobalt Blue. But, we will see who, and when Cobalt Blue is from.

The moment the chemicals go 0 G, the pan back of the camera is identical to when Barry saw them go up in 2012. I think it could be a parallel world where Barry and Eddie's lives are reversed. A world where Barry becomes a cop and Eddie becomes a scientist unless it is our Earth, our timeline but before Eddie became a cop or a change from Crisis.

Well it was co-written by another person & besides there is some classic Wallace stamp such as the pointless hiding face of Malcom (BTW Mr Wallace this is the final season no need to hide an actors face who has appeared in the series many times now), also pointless spending time with Allegra & Chuck both of those characters can either die or move away I won't care about them either way.

Originally a Barry from the future appears from a portal, but for some reason that Barry from the future never appeared and the Barry from the series we know replaced him For which I conclude that I create a circle where Barry himself from the series is the beginning and the end. Pretty solid episode imo. Two nitpicks though: 1) I personally didn't think we needed to see Barry stop himself from saving his mom since we knew that he did that to prevent Flashpoint. And 2) I wish they hadn't created a new character that wasn't Eddie and is instead Malcolm Thawne(I believe). It would have been better if they had just revealed that Eddie's full name was Malcolm Edward Thawne, but maybe having a completely separate character works better somehow.

Absolutely loved the episode!!! We finally get some Matt lescher thawne even tho it’s probably the last we see of that version of thawne it’s still a treat. I love Tom cavanaugh but it was good to have Matt in here. Grant acted the shit out of this and definitely made me intrigued for the whole arc. Let's face it guys, a new world parts 1 - 4 is the best things that happened to the flash in a long time. Flash Seasons 5 - 8 was kind of mid (hinting Season 9) but a new world just refreshes everything and it is top tier.

For me this episode is a solid 8 out of 10 every second I see Grant in this episode he is just fantastic & man Matt is great as this rash, impulsive, stubborn & asshole Reverse Flash. The only downsides of the episode for me is the opening I felt it was unnecessary & the editing was too jumpy. And of course any scene with Allegra & Chuck if both move away from Cent 0:01 ral city at the end of the series & only periodically pop up I will be 1 million percent happier with it they are just so boring to watch.

The previous episode and this one were both great, but the rest of the season has been throw away and incredibly dull. Still, looks like it's ending on a high note. I'd say Superman and Lois has been the standout of any Superhero TV on any platform, until the last couple of episodes the Flash just felt like they'd lost interest and were just seeing it through to the end. Superman and Lois season 2 was trash though. This season is more drama than superhero, which is fine but not my cup of tea, kinda tired of the cancer storyline. The only season that was actually great was season 1. The Flash this season will end on a high note, and that's all that matters

I would certainly like a little more action this season in S&L but that looks like that's all about to start happening. I liked season 2 of S&L but the main villain didn't do much for me. It's all good though, different shows appeal to different people :)

@@zoolook3264 These last episodes are concentrating on the Flash. The first half of season 9 is trash but it only has 2 episodes that were decent and those 2 were all about the Flash. Like I said, it's ending on a high note and that's what's important. S&L season 2 spent way too much time on unnecessary characters and drama like the Cushing family, it took too much screen time. The villain was so boring, the only good thing was the Bizzaro storyline, before and after that the season was trash. Season 1 is still the best. Season 3 so far is not bad, but it's not season 1 level, it's lacking. Anyway, all good 👍
