Outside of the skin colour, the headsculpt is definitely recognizable as Ezra, and looks more like him than the second sculpt. The second one looks more 'realistic' but the resemblance isn't on the same level as YR

That dummy head with the mask on it is really cool. I wish they would have changed the colors of the logo on the display base though, the red and black colors make it look more like the reverse flash logo.

The Black Freighter was the name of the pirate comic book that existed as a story in the story of the Watchmen graphic novel. It was also teased in the film, but the DVD release had a full animated adaptation of it. If this is the shirt Ezra Miller wore in JL, it would make sense as Zack Snyder was giving a nod to the Watchmen verse….

Agree on the head sculpt - it's a let down. But the outfit is so nice! Maybe Young Rich Toys should just focus on animated figures (as you said) and outfit/accessory packs. I'd buy them even without a head sculpt if they're on the same line of detail as this!

Sadly I don’t think I’ve been impressed by anything since their Miles release. Even Peter B. had a wonky masked head. When you have companies like Soosoo and Toys Era constantly improving with each release this is quite the let down by Young Rich.

I have a whole civilian league except for Barry and Victor. This figure caught my eye last year but the headsculpt in the promo pics was just the same pic photoshopped onto all the pictures. I knew then that I’d have to order a different head so I’m currently using that other sculpt you compared. I need to pick this one up for everything but the head as well lol

You're absolutely right about the head sculpt, it's like a caricature, and not even a good one. That jaw is so weird... Makes me wonder how these companies make them. We know Hasbro is using their 3D scan and printing technology to achieve that accurate likeness for some of their toys. I think Hot Toys uses a combination of traditional and 3D sculpt/printing. I was trying my hand at 3D sculpting in Blender recently and I think that, for a pro, producing an accurate likeness should very, very doable. Why OK these mediocre jobs?
