Not sure if someone in the comments already answered this for you guys or not but just in case, I read that the whole purpose of why Zod and even Faora are back is because unlike the opening sequence in Man of Steel, those events still happened in this new timeline only Zod had succeeded in finding and killing baby Clark right at that moment before being sent to Earth. Thus, erasing the events in Man of Steel from that point on. Instead, it's Jor-El's brother (whose name I forgot) that sends his daughter, Kara, to earth in his nephew's place. I mean most of us Supergirl fans already know the story but if we're going by this movie's take on it, then yeah, that's what most likely happened. So I'm thinking the government or whomever captured and held her prisoner, which is when we likely first meet her in the movie. Plus, as it was just implied by Barry in the trailer, Metahumans don't exist in this new timeline. As far as why Keaton is there, some people say it's another version of his Batman than the one from the two Burton films but then that just creates more confusion so I'm hoping it's the same exact character from those movies. My main concern is what's going on and what'll end up happening with Ben Affleck's Batman because we know it's his last appearance as his version of the character but how are they gonna go about handling him throughout this movie if he isn't in it for that much? I mean look, as much as I love Keaton's Batman, Affleck's version to this day isn't getting much love and I find that quite annoying lol

One thing to be noted: Flash , Barry Allen will be the only Character having the memory on Snyderverse heroes and when he will reset time he will be in James Gunn DCU universe. He will have those everything that he knew is gone and now he will have to live in this univ. So, both universe will be connected but Snyderverse will be over and DCU will be start in the end of this Movie. Its going to be huge

Since it is a reset I think they can go as crazy as they want since they don't have to worry about continuity for what comes next. Which means we can loose a lot of people in this film. Barry can still mess things up and the result of that mess up is the new DC and the start of Chapter 1. Cant wait to see how this is all gonna play out 😄

Very emotional trailer: we see Barry's love for his mom, Supergirl flying into the dark clouds carrying what seems to be Superman's dead body, Supergirl looking maltreated, weak and helpless inside a government facility. I'm upset that there's a possibility she was raped as a captive. I'll just imagine the facility has the same kind of staff discipline like in Terminator 2, like licking the female patients' faces is the worst the male staff can do and nothing more.

THey're doing some of the flashpoint, but not all of it. They're replacing superman with supergirl, and the Thomas Wayne/Bruce Wayne/Martha Wayne story line wont be in it, as well as the war between Diana and Arthur won't be in it.

Dude, are you trying to start shit? If you don't like it, then just don't pay to watch it. No need in giving us a sermon for why you're butthurt that they aren't continuing with Zack's version of these characters (well most of them anyway). The Snyderverse ended when Zack left back in 2016 and yet y'all have since held on to false hope when the writing's been on the wall for 7 YEARS now. The moment Zack signed a deal with Netflix was a clear sign that he was done at WB and DC. Him and James Gunn have been great friends and supporters of each other's creative choices so don't sit there with your Snyder Cult mentality because the fandom ain't having it! He was hired to do a job for the studio and had nothing to do with any of this bullshit, which is precisely another reason for why they're rebooting because people of your behavioral level don't deserve to be rewarded.
