I'll tell you what surprised me. When Bart sees uncle Jay for the 1st time: why didn't he hug him? With shock and how impulsive he is---it seemed odd that Bart didn't hug him. Uncle Jay could have semi-hug or been cautious-- sure. That moment felt off for me. Example: I liked when uncle uncle jay got Bart to not help & follow flash. (A nice moment of connection & influence.) Also, with the speculation of Bart allen's anxiety or mental health stuff-- uncle jay could have understood or gotten him in a way his parents did not. So, developing these moments are crucial.....also leaves space for big sister, little Nora & their relationship. I guess I like developing and discovering Bart & uncle jay's relationship. And I want more moments....how did that happen? Is flash gone or too busy? And why did uncle jay step up like that? They are both good actors and could craft it with the developed storyline and good writing....interesting possibilities.....
