Glad that they actually have someone from Vekoma working/checking on it, but I can't really view this single train operation in this park so close to the entrance very positively. Was really hoping they'd ask and get a turntable station reconstructed. This is a mistake tbh, but the coaster itself does indeed look like a lot of fun@ Thank you for posting this video! It's definitely a solid addition of modern vekoma! Contrary to how some have stated, Kingda Ka was never a chiller replacement. Getting one is a positive thing.(1/2, continuing park critique positive and negative after this).

(2/2) For SFGADV's size, I'd say now it just needs a GCI and a better B&M (like a big dive, sell and/or replace green lantern) and a few new rides (like one over by Jersey Devil, a zamperla endeavour, nebulaz, chance freestyle other side of park). I'd say it'd be borderlining perfection (provided they actually have stuff...open). But what they began with Justice Leaque, I'd call that entire area pretty complete now. Just hope the lines for "Flash: Vertical Velocity" aren't hours literally all the time for five years.

Speaking of not the same though, just gonna say I certainly wouldn't be against a gravity group family coaster for SFGADV either as long as it was made with full-size trains and a bit more height, like a mid-size with a still relatively low-enough height restriction. Idk maybe they could even help with El Toro if they could have a good relationship, the in-house work they dof ro that one just doesn't seem to last (not to me at least) and the xpenses for it are basically out of control.

I'm sure it's just running a little slow right now because that's usually the case during the initial testing. They need to make sure the train makes it through the full circuit safely before they crank up the speed.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I really don't think this ride is going to be a big hit. I just don't see it being something you will want to ride over and over, more of just a 1 and done. It's going to take FOREVER to get through the line with it's low capacity and I just don't get that excited about the layout. Maybe I'm just being jaded but I don't think it's going to seem worth the wait to people that were waiting an extra year to get on the new coaster. Being so close to the front of the park and with how busy the park is it will always have a long line it's going to be a nightmare for lines... They really should have done the turntable especially when they realized they couldn't open it during 24 season...

Great Adventure is my home park and I see a lot of positive comments about this ride so I'd like to explain... This is a New Age Vekoma which is going to be a huge draw. This ride's theoretical capacity is 800 riders per hour, the park won't come close to that. Nitro has a theoretical capacity of 1,800 riders per hour which they get close to because the team busts it and the restraints are easy to check. The lines for this will be absolutely insane! I'd say if you want to ride it get there soon because when the competent people at Cedar Fair see what the incompetent people at Six Flags did, they'll move this to a smaller park where it belongs and hopefully get us a new ground up coaster for the first time in 18 years! Great Adventure's 50th anniversary and I'm pretty sure Six Flags just forgot about us so they found a cheap coaster with awful capacity last minute and what they called "upgrades" to our Log Flume and Big Wheel for our 50th, all other parks would call "refurbishment". Yay to Cedar Fair having 51% control and non idiots being in charge for once!

@@JodyR87 I agree there. I wrote this before the Ka and Green Lantern rumors. If they do go, Flash isn't going anywhere. The capacity is a problem because a ride like Joker is a dime a dozen, you can ride them anywhere and most people skip it. Flash is the first new age thrill coaster from Vekoma in the US, it's going to be a huge draw.

Looks slow. Hopefully, Flash will break in and run much faster with a loaded train. The cycle takes a long time to complete. The line for Flash will take forever. Great Adventure really phooked up by not making this a two-train coaster. A transfer track would’ve made two train operation possible. What were they thinking? 🤔🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😮
