It took me a while to get into The Flatliners, i lived in Detroit for a year and the best friends i made there got me into them and it was this song that made me fall in love with this band. This song became the ultimate anthem of our friendship. I dont think any other song holds as much meaning or nostalgia for me so thank you Flatliners for writing it. Chris Cresswell is a legend. They're are some of the coolest guys you've ever met. 2011 at the Smiling Moose in the South Side of Pittsburgh. A night I'll never forget. Still the best show I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds of concerts and shows.

Idk why I'm going to comment this but oh well. I discovered this song after i had relapsed after 7 years of sobriety, was going through the worst break up ive ever been through and just really fucking up my life. It was literally insane how much these lyrics literally just spoke about my life at the time. Id always listen to it while riding my motorcycle in the middle of the night. I was using meth and heroin at the time and just..........was ready to die. Luckily i made it out alive. I lost everything but im alive and eventually got most of it back . Now that binge was absolutely monumental.

First saw these guys in 2014 when I had just been left behind by the first person I ever fell in love with. I resonated with these lyrics so hard they've become my all-time favorite band and when I went to see them the other bands playing at the festival introduced me to a whole new world of music I'd been missing out on. I've never been more alive than being at these concerts and festivals. Also, WOW they look so young here.
