I love how in most videos Donnie is usually looking all over the houses, and in this one he's like, "Nope" and sticks mainly to the living room.

I’ll admit I lost my mind on a double wide “remodel”, 2 foot overhang on the roof, Lowes cabinets, black granite everywhere, whole thing drywall/texture, 1000+ SQFT floor tile, 28” panel doors, crown molding, etc, etc. Renters have been in it 10+ years and absolutely love it, never miss a payment.

In the northeast, there isn't much of a market for used mobile homes - something like this would have been scrapped long ago. I think the cost of land, stricter zoning laws, and the lack of available lots in mobile home communities may have something to do with it. The sad part is, someone clearly lived like this for who knows how long... between the electrical system, plumbing, roof, floors, cockroaches, windows, and walls - what is left worth saving?
@mybrotherdonnie3 сағат бұрын
Around here land is plentiful. You can put a mobile home just about anywhere does not have to be in a community. But if you go to the lot to buy one a new one wheel cost you hundred to 200,000. So these used ones they’re selling for 25,000 and you Fix them there’s no way you can have 75,000 and fixing them so you come out ahead

@ yeah, I get that - my 70 year old two-bedroom ranch on 0.19 acres is worth about $425,000 - the same house on an acre probably costs half as much in the carolinas.

Believe it or not I work for a big landscape company and I am the head mechanic. I’m over about 30 trucks. I’ve got 10 plows out right now and I’ve got 10 spreader trucks out that I’m in charge of keeping them going, so I’ll be up for the next 36 hours or so making sure we knock this out

I use to have a 85 Fleetwood Wingate with the sink in the island but it was reversed. I had the same ceiling in the living room. Mine was 10 years old when I traded it in for my current double. Well have to say this one is really bad shape. But if you have the money and the time but this would be a total gut job. I hate to see what condition the electrical is after seeing that electrical panel. really scary home. I noticed it had a sold sign on one of the windows. Good luck to the new owner.

Ah, he's wrong anyway. You can have patina on a roof, that's why they make copper roofs. A nice green patina. They even charge you more to make is oxidize faster to get that patina.

Ok I forgot the 20+ LED can lights, too much to list. Still nothing spectacular and when you consider Formica, Linoleum, paneling, mini-blinds and standard doorknobs, they aren’t exactly giving that stuff away.
