I've had my Gawa 2008 16x80 for 4 years now, it's not glamorous but our mortgage on a 1/3 of an acre is next to nothing. I'd take living here with the occasional hiccup over renting a cramped apartment any day. Also, critter control can be a challenge in these, don't skimp on pest control otherwise you'll open a cabinet to some uninvited guests.

considered a 16X60...I sold them for 13 years....in the 90's .....price on this back then was roughly only 21,999 by the late 90's early 2000's ......$65K?....just blows my mind for a trailer made on a production line in a factory....people are getting so CHEATED today especially young couples starting out with minimum job wages....

A good video. Miner fixes on this one that you can see. Check the plumbing and water heater too. A good cleaning some paint in the living room. You didn’t open the shower to make sure the fiberglass surround was not cracked

I took the sky lights out of our double cause they were a leaking all the time. So when we had a new roof put on we did away with both sky lights and put in new ceilings. Like looking at the older mobile homes. I've had a few in my days.

Actually guys, they do make ADA compliant mobile homes. We live in a doublewide on a permanent brick foundation that is set up for someone with mobility issues. The master suite is overly large, with an overly large bath. The door into the on suite is actually a double door, where one of the doors can be locked in place and you can just use a single door, but both doors open completely if you need the extra width. There is a garden tub/shower combo, but also a walk in shower with seating, and grab bars all throughout including the toilet area, which is also overlarge. We purchased it from an elderly couple who had various mobility issues, who purchased it new from the factory in 2000. The title lists it as a 1999 Bell (or something that has Bell in the name.)

That's actually not a bad mobile home, the trim gives it a rustic look. With a good cleaning, minor repairs, appliances, furniture & wall hangings..that'd be a cozy place to live.
