This is amazing!! I never thought I'd see the show that Thee Roman Gods 7" was taken from (for The Next Big Thing Zine). Too bad poor Marek is stuck behind the PA stacks. This must be one of his last shows.

Dunno about you, but I always felt that calling NBT a zine was kinda off the mark, each edition was a work of art. I usually bought two, one to look over repeatedly and one to remain mint.

I saw them for the first time the same year in NY at an outdoor block party for college students. Impossible to envision a better band to work a bunch of kids up into peak drunken bacchanalia. And many times since then, always a complete blast.. I agree with what someone else said, the best live band ever. What other band leads their entire audience out into the street during the show?
