Glad we got a boss that we never faced before. Unlike HZD which was a buffed deathbringer with rail gun attachments at least you were timed which put pressure on the player. Although HZD's boss music is more intense than HFW

I fought this boss battle literally last night, extremely underlevelled because when I read the notes, Tilda was bloody Lv 45 against my Lv 32 behind. I spammed Acid Arrows, Plasma, Precision Arrows like my life depended on it, and actually relied on the power skill to boot up my crit attacks. Man Tilda, I knew you loved Lis, but you went from manipulative calm to straight up obsessed “I want a second chance with my lover”. No Tilda

doing this fight with trash gear because the shadow carja outfit is somehow better than 80% of purple gear is a nightmare. i couldn't even hear the music over the explosions and tilda's constant yelling.

The fight against Zeniths was epic! The truth which we learned from their base was more terrifying than we could even imagine! The true goal of Tilda was treacherous! In the end I don't think she died, only was defeated by Aloy. We can only see her hand from pod. At least thanks by Far Zenith we've got APOLLO and we know name of the true threat - Nemesis. This is not the end. It's just only the beginning. HADES was just a servant. Now, in third Horizon, we will fight against his boss.

And I won't be surprised if we will find out that some Zeniths played as gods at Earth in creation of all those tribes and that there was a rebellion at Sirius star system, in which they arrived at Earth and established some kind of empire. I suppose those God-playing stuff ended in Quen's creation. I know, I know. Illuminati Sound Effect. XD ;)

Man, I can't believe it! I never got this music while I was fighting the final boss. I think my game glitched out, because the music that played while I was fighting the final boss was "The World on her Shoulders". Who knows what happened there.

Same here. In my two playtroughs I got the world on her shoulders instead. I never realized Specter Primer had his own theme until very late. I didn't mind at firts beacuse the title of the music is "The World on her shoulders" wich kinda fit this battle very well. But still :c

Here's the weird thing: So the Specter prime's theme is second chance obviously but if you restart checkpoint, battle theme 9 will always play instead. Oddly fitting because it was the search mode that was playing.

I just realised Specter Prime has a theme. Sure it has lol. In my playthrough Specter Prime lasted for about 20 seconds untill I basically vaporised it with all the maxed out gear I had at this point. Turns out grinding out your legendary gear makes you waaaaaaaaaayyy too overpowered for a story boss... as is kinda tradition with open world games.

While I never vaporized Specter Prime, I was pretty upgraded by that point, too. The fight still took me a few tries, and ultimately I was grateful I’d done some grinding. I didn’t have legendary gear, though. Only very rare. But I managed! And it was epic!

Tip for every game. Make multiple save files. It makes it easier if you get stucked on a boss or level.

Most open world, single player games like Horizon Forbidden West and Marvel's Spiderman actually do autosave. Horizon forbidden west even tells you that you can load to before the mission if you're feeling underpowered

I don't know why people find the Specter prime easy. The deathbringer fight was intense sure (mostly because you were timed) but on my recent ultra hard playthrough, I beat it on my first try without the shield-weaver too. The Specter prime on the other hand despite analysing and getting the hang of it's attacks is an ABSOLUTE PAIN in the crunch. Despite exposing it's weakness and using the best gear, I've been struggling a lot with this fight. The armour is THICK like crazy and it even levitates itself back to the Specter prime. Most attacks disable 50% of your abilities which are also useful too unfortunately, and they aren't that predictable either. The deathbringer was hard sure, but the Specter prime was 3x harder than any machine on Ultra hard, even though the slaughterspine, Apex tracker burrower and the slitherfang were a PAIN as well. 🤕🤕🤕

I hated going against Specter Prime on ultra hard just because it took me way too many attempts to beat it lol. My main difficulty setting that i go for on HFW & HZD are very hard.

I retaliate against this comment. Spector Prime is not that difficult especially on Ultra Hard, Slaughterspine is definitely the most dangerous machine we have seen in the Horizon series(not counting the burning shores dlc), it’s plasma attacks are basically an instant death if you have no plasma defense on your Nora thunder outfit which most people use. But I agree, the Spector Prime CAN be difficult if you’re unprepared, its attacks are easy to dodge and easier due to the longer dodge animation of the bolt blaster weapon.

Honestly, spectre prime was a big disappointment for me. I think it is the easiest heavy class machine in this game because of it's huge weak spots and very predictable attacks. I was expecting to die at least once on very hard difficulty to the final boss you know... I remember deathbringer and daemonic fireclaws fights whose were a way harder and more fun. Deathbringer bossfight with a timer to kill it and other machines helping it wasn't hard but was cool enough to be the final one. Daemonic fireclaw with heal towers to destroy was fucking amazing, especially I liked the fact that I died like 20 times on ultrahard. And this... Meh. When I read spectre prime description I thought that it is going to transform into other machines depending on the situation and change it's elemental damage weaknesses if you use some kind of weapon too much. Just imagine if it was all machines in one testing player knowledge about all enemy types and their weakspots. But we got this stupid damage sponge. I don't even know if there is a special cutscene if you loose to it

@@Hear.myvoice It's not that about difficulty how about balance of Eloy's weapons. In new Horizon status effects doesn't feel constant at all. Normally corruption effect makes machines slightly less defensive (like 10-20%) but in case with all spectres it sometimes seems like 100-200% which is insane... I was just using a 40 damage hunting bow and it somehow could deal 1k damage in one shot by an accident. This "extra weakness" is something that really looks like 150dmg/s from fire when you destroy all fireclaw's containers. It's just quickly becomes a question of existence of a "special weakness" to say if machine is pathetic or unkillable. I mean, I feel very stupid when I kill daemonic fireclaw with only 3k damage and watching it burn in 5 minutes and then, facing a daemonic thunderjaw whose setup of weakspots I would describe as "no setup of weakspots". Game goes from too easy into too hard. Also I really like the fact that I have found a bow with water status effect after playing the same save slot for 100 hours. The fact that you sometimes don't have the right weapon is pissing me off because the only thing left to do in these cases is to shot it until it dies... And I guess everyone is fine with this kind of "game design" because they create oneshot setups out of grinding and feel tat they are skilled pushing one button to win every fight. Let's wait 6 years again until Horizon is ported to PC where further balancing additions will be possible
