@Faroukmaun5 жыл бұрын
@@martinkaradzhov3333 because it defines our identity we can't be stopped by tragedy United played an FA cup 5th round game two weeks after the disaster with a team Sheet full of loans players and Youth players with only harry greg and bill Folks that means we are a United until the end all the comebacks on football basis came from that ... this is United traditions and we gone and won the European cup ten years later without the munich air disaster we would be a normal big club like Barcelona or Madrid only football history but with the history behind football on a humain being level makes United so special we will never die and we will keep the red flag flying high 💟💟💟✌✌✌

@@martinkaradzhov3333 you don't need a tragedy to become a big club but when it happens you need to go throug it and make your stamp on history MUFC did it in a very special way that makes United a mythical club there is three criteria to measure the dimension of a football club you have 1 the titles football history what did you won in your time as a Club 2 the fan base how many people support you around the globe and 3 the history of the club without the titles the creation of the club the traditions and the foundation set by the Club Lengends and the history of the Club Man utd combine the three criteria in the best fashion i'm not saying Barcelona or Madrid aren't big clubs they are a Huge clubs but man utd is a so romantic and special football club !!!! If you visit Old Trafford you will see the the words to the Flowers of Manchester written down and attributed to "Anon". This song was actually written by my Father Eric Winter. If you don't believe me ask Mick Groves who recorded a CD of this song at the ground. Mick Groves was a member of The Spinners sometimes called The Liverpool Spinners and my Father got them their first recording contract.

Harry Gregg, a hero for whom the likes of Sir Bobby Charlton as well as many others may not have survived, who played the very next match, and led the team for years to come, has now gone to be with his teammates. Without him, does this club even survive the Munich Air Disaster?

I was there that day. I worked for United back then and about a month before I had spoken to a relative of Harry Gregg's whilst working in the office. She spoke to me about how it would probably be the last time he would ever be at Old Trafford when he went to a game that was coming up. Little did I know he was up in the stands with Sir Alex until my Mum (who has been a United fan since the days of Georgie Best) turned to me and said he, "oh my god there's Harry Gregg!" I couldn't believe it but there he was, he had come back again for one last time. True to his family member's word he never came back to Old Trafford. The other thing that really stuck with me this day was the snow. When I say it began snowing as soon as we started singing "The Flowers of Manchester" I mean the very second. Pathetic Fallacy in action. Like God looked down on us and wept with the cold tears that sent the Busby Babes to their graves. Soon after the song finished we had the thousands of fans singing "We'll never die" I couldn't muster any sound. I was too busy weeping. I was born in 1993 and never watched the babes. But to anyone who tells you football is "Just a game" tell them otherwise. This is our History as Mancunians, this is our culture as United fans, this is our family and our heritage. This is MUFC. Edit: In fact you can see me, my Mum and Dad at the very bottom of the frame at 1:07 I'm the ginger with the glasses, she has a grey hat on and my dad has his United Beanie on.

The most eerie thing at this commemoration was not just the snowing but when a baby began to cry. This was the sound that caused Harry Gregg to stop in his tracks when he was running away from the plane. He told those around him that there were people still in there and ran straight back and saved a number of lives.. What a hero that man was that day on that field in Munich!@@Mikeb1001

Bobby Charlton And Harry Gregg where there probably thinking about their mates that passed. To all the Liverpool and City and Leeds fans that mock Munich how would you guys like to see your friends die? How would you like it if your football team crashed and your favorite players died? Same goes to the United fans that chant about The 96 Liverpool fans that died in Hillsborough and the 2 Leeds fans that got Stabbed to death in Turkey. Imagine it could’ve been you. Imagine that the Munich air crash was your football team.
