Sean thank you so much for filming the locations of this film. Such a great movie and one of my favorite movies of all time,alot of people don't know that technically this movie is a remake. Jeff Goldblum did a fantastic job in making you feel everything Seth was going through after his telepod incident and the practical effects on the final transformation from Seth to the fly was remarkable. HEY MALFUNCSEAN...ANOTHER EPIC LOCATION VLOG! I went to a preview viewing of The Fly in 1986 . I was 21 and newly married and my wife was pregnant with our first son. She really freaked out when that maggot came out of Geena Davis!lol. The Doctor in that scene was Cronenberg himself. After the movie, they had 5 t-shirts to give away. There was like 80 people. Anyway, I got one and I still have it, never worn or washed. It has a fly on the front with the logo and on the back it says "Help me! Please help me!". I'm 59 and sick with leukemia. It will just get tossed out. If you want it let me know. You collection is legendary! Thanks for this one. It brought back a lot of memories.

Im 47 now i was 10 in 1986 same age as Adam Goldberg lol this movie was on HBO back in it's days Home Box office. Its cult horror classic now. Jeff is one of my favorite actor love his work, even in the movie "Earth Girls are Easy" so 80s. Thanks for sharing Sean Clark. Awesome 👍😎📸👊🎃

Went to a storage unit to pick up motorcycle parts from an older Harley we bought from a SFX tech around 2005 in Toronto. He had worked on the film and had some props in the unit from The Fly

12:24 I think the platform started at the curb and the street was much lower than it is now. Even looking at 12:45, the window across the street is much higher than the car say than if the same car drove past it at 12:50.

"thanks" for this location tour of "the fly" ... just an observation of note: ... most of the interior set locations (including "brundle's lab" with "telepods") for this cronenberg classic were in fact shot in vaughan, ontario at the old "kleinburg studios" in '85 to '86 ... "cinespace" on "kipling" came to be in '88 and took over the control of the old "kleinburg" soundstage in "vaughan" at that time...
