What a beautiful comic. The art in Golden Age comics has a rep for being crude and amateurish, but not here. This comic was full of delightful images. I was struck in particular by the use of yellow backdrops and shadows. And the Avenger's iconic airplane? Such fun! The ending seemed a little rushed tho. Perhaps the writer was trying to tell a bigger story than he could deliver. But what I really want to know is where's my portable atomic motor? We have those, don't we? It says so in the last panel!
