BUY A RADIO AND PUT IT IN THE TRUCK. Dr. Gluon should set favorite music in CAS so that he will only have to turn it to his favorite station. His fun will stay full. Semaj should set the same music stations as well (or both select all) so that he can gain fun passively. The door to the truck is already locked so no worries about customers coming inside.

I applaud Carl for his efforts in fixing DO. I now have less issues with my own sims going out to eat. Though it is tough, very tough, trying to make it work on an already broken foundation. Carl, do your best. Remember to take mental breaks because I personally don’t want you to burn out. EA should really be paying you at this point.

Why is this series unlocking a core memory of a super cute place my parents took me to when I was a kid? It was like a storybook cottage turned cafe. They grew their own veg amd to get to the resteraunt itself you had to walk through the gardens. There were fountains and statues everywhere amd THE BEST carmel apple cider I have EVER had!! Even came with a giant cinnamon stick for stirring. I might need to build this in my game. 😊

I think that maybe it's the bench that's glitching things out as I've noticed that when they leave their table while waiting for their order and sit on the bench, then it doesn't recognize that their food has been served🤷‍♀️

It has always been a bit glitchy from the beginning but it seems worse recently. I notice that the customers would complain about being unable to walk around once in a while so maybe try to space out the tables a bit so that they are not so close to each other and see if it help 🤔?

Perhaps you could cheat in the eco vacumn after earning an amount at the restaurant. Like 20,000. Then you can clean all the items but you have to use the random items in your new restaurant. Just a thought.

@@piperbird7193 Yes, it works. Recently, I did it at the start of a legacy and I'm 9 generations in without a single NPC-voted NAP. If you don't do the disabling at the start of your game, you still need to repeal any NAPs that have already been voted in, either buy using the cheat James showed or getting petition signatures.

I wouldn’t think it was the coffee. I’d say Dine Out is the problem, but also most of the ones that bugged out were the ones with clay. So maybe the community thing is messing up the restaurant. Makes sense, EA not making sure that an expansion pack doesn’t break an even more buggy game pack.

at least in the past you could download the vacuum thing in a room on the gallery and if you put it on a selling table and have your sim clear the table they gain it in their inventory. maybe you could do that but make it cost like 5000 each for a vacuum

I never understand why people in Let's Plays buy a bunch of seed packets hoping they'll get the veggies, fruit, or flowers they want when they can go to the stall in Henford-On-Bagley and buy exactly the produce they want and plant it. I know the stock they sell changes, but they almost always have all the basic ingredients needed for recipes. Plus it's a lot cheaper to buy one potato from there than it is to buy multiple seed packets hoping one has a potato in it. And it's not like the packets have literal seeds in them, so it's not cheating to buy the produce whole when the "seed packets" give you whole produce anyway.

I had the same glitch with the waiting symbol flashing after they’ve already been given food. I got rid of my picnic tables and spread out my tables and haven’t had the issue since. No idea why or what that means lol.

I suggest not getting recommend a dish. I tried using it and it would bug the table so I couldn't take the order. This is worse than the bug where they don't get their food because you won't earn any money for that table AND they will give you a poor review due to waiting. In my experience, it bugged the table every time instead of just randomly.
