Loved this interview! As a Certified Juice Therapist it's encouraging to see a plant-based cardiologist that understands the power of juicing along with a WFPB diet for disease reversal.

Excellent interview, thank you! I too especially like the comment about not genes, but the recipes. I have told my friends, when they tell me they inherited the possibilities of them getting sick, from their parents... and I say, yes, if we eat like our parents, yes, we will have the same illnesses. I don’t think they believed me so I don’t say anything anymore .... given away books to no avail .... I just say, if they ask me or comment on weight I’ve lost, like dr lisle says, oh, I’m just trying a new diet and my body seems to like it. End of story.

Does it prevent ATP production , I’ve been taken Prilosec for over 25 years and I’ve been Dx: with acid reflux in 1989. This might explain my low energy… Thank you for informing us on our health. ❤

Great interview with a very interesting doctor. I wish I lived closer to Texas, but I'm in Italy! I'm not clear on something. Does Dr. Montgomery recommend a raw vegan diet forever or just for the detox?
@margomeave90643 жыл бұрын
All cases vary, but for the most part, for a 30day detox. Close to the end, he describes his diet.

John Rose was the raw vegan he met that encouraged him to do a juice fast and is instrumental in this story.

Big question; I KNOW there are no quick fixes but eating horribly the last few months of the year has my total at 284 (ldl 206). 😖. I’m past week 1 of eliminating ALL oil, of any sort (Dr.Esselstyn plan)…..how soon could I get retested to see if it’s working? I’ll continue on the WOE but would like proof for motivation. 🙏🙏
@CHEFAJ2 жыл бұрын
I would think 3 months would be a good time to get re-tested

Did he really say at the beginning that the LDL of 190 or more was diagnostic for HD. My cardiologist says the research says 70 is ideal although most docs still say under 100. My cardiologist is now pushing a new level of 50 which I think is industry funded for PCSK9 inhibitors, PCSK9 inhibitors are a new class of drugs that lower LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol. Right now, there are two FDA-approved medications: alirocumab (Praluent) and evolocumab ( Repatha ).
