@@peterbalogh5622 Billy West was brilliant. Laquidara used to do a prank phone call bit, usually on someone's birthday. My brother got him to call his soon-to-be bride the morning of the wedding. Said he was from the caterer and they had an accident but "don't worry, we've arranged to have 200 Happy Meals delivered to the reception". My sister-in-law broke down crying. I was at work howling. Charles was trying to calm her down and she's yelling, "This is a sign! God doesn't want me to marry him!". I still crack up thinking about it.

I saw the Fools at a NHC concert. My claim to fame was they were serving beer in foam cups to "upperclassman" and I got me a boat load of drinks. And when I finished one cup and tossed the cup at the leadsinger mid song. He gave me a look that deflowered me right on the spot. Yah, those were groovy days.

i seen this guys more than a few times back in the 80's. during the show they ordered a pizza and when it got there they brought the delivery guy up on stage and started handing out slices. another time they had a grill on stage and started grilling up hamburgers. they were awesome

I remember being 11 in 1985, and my swinging single divorced Dad went to see the Fools every chance he got. I remember hearing this song when I was supposed to be sleeping, and couldn't believe it; It was TOO funny to be real. And not for the usual 11-year old reasons, there's only a little bit of swearing. Now, of course, I can hear what great musicians they were, doing the jazz thing like this.
