This is a great series and I love seeing the different "forbidden foods" tried out with your massive population! I think the onions may take a while in whole form since they are bulbs used to stating dormant, but alive, for a little while before they start growing into plants again. I wonder if you will see any sprouting in them or if decay will set in allowing the worms to start feasting!! Excellent video my friend!!🪱🪱🪱

"The Chicken is GGGGOOONNNEEE" !! I WANT THE t-shirt Gaetano!! Interesting about the Sulphur. Can't think of a food but it would be cool to see what would happen if you transplanted a potato plant in there !!! Cheers Jason and Colleen 🌱🪱🌱

Gaetano, thanks for the update on the onions! I would like to put your worms to the rest with raw ginger. It’s not forbidden as much as maybe it’s resistant. I think the number of worms you have will have the best chance of success.

I will try raw ginger for sure :)

? Are you testing the microbial and fungi activity of the castings from these experiments? I ask because some of the things your feeding them are known to kill the best parts of what make castings so beneficial.
@northeastworms2 жыл бұрын
Yes I test my casting and the result are astonishing, my casting is one of the best that you can find in the market today. www.northeastworms.com/worm-cating-lab-s-result Regarding the fact that "some of the things I feed kill the best part" , can you please articulate? What is that kill the bacteria and in which way?

I found your channel only two weeks ago and I've already viewed almost all of your videos! I've been wanting to start selling worms here in Australia and your channel has helped me so much. I just want to ask, how many of those black tubs of worms do you have going at once? I'm thinking of starting with 16 and maybe increasing to 100, but I'd love to know how many you're able to work with on your own. Thank you for your videos!

Thanks for your kind words. I run a maximum of 120 at once by myself, is a lot of job but definitely is possible. I have 90 at moment and they keep me busy

Would it benefit to pre compost foods like onions and citrus fruits before feeding worms or would that consume defeat the purpose?
@northeastworms2 жыл бұрын
Precompost is always a good idea, prevent the change to heating up the bedding and is easy accessible food for the worms

Where is Episode 3 of the onions? Thank you
@northeastworms2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I did not shoot the episode 3, I had to reset 120 reproduction bins and harvest all the casting of the "beast", sorry for that. I am by myself and sometimes I have really no time. The onion completely disappear after around 6 weeks and I never saw a ball of worms attack the onions Thank You very much for stopping over my channel.
