Just seeing Apple Paradise, the owner Kombla comes across as so genuinely hospitable and so much love put into her shop. That alone, makes me want to visit Marpha, all the way from New Zealand. The architecture of the city is so beautiful, the streets so clean. Perhaps one of the most beautiful small towns shared with us on YT for many many years.

@@user-ew9gt3dg8x "Over tourism can also ruin places and permanently alter the culture" - When you are one of the absolute poorest (and also clearly grossly mismanaged) countries in the world... 'over tourism' should be the least of your worries 🤦🏼‍♂ Let people earn a living, tourism grow and develop the country. Then we can talk about undesirable cultural changes (if there are any) down the line when people have proper salaries and living standards. 37:49 Mustang became a part of modern Nepal in the 1700s, when King Prithvi Narayan Shah initiated his military campaign resulting in modern day Nepal. During the campaign, some kings who peacefully agreed to come under his kingdom of Gorkha were given special local rights, whereby they could rule locally as king, but the kingdom itself would be part of Nepal politically. When Nepal became a republic in 2008 and the Nepalese monarchy proper was abolished, the last surviving mini-kingdom within the larger Nepali kingdom was also abolished.

Heaven in the sky! Absolutely authentic in every sense of the word! Seriously impressed with this community hidden away from the world it's like a medieval village from long ago but still intact! The Appleshine lady's store was so impressive.. she's a goddess of the mountain man excellent work you are on fire! Rabbit hole excursions so authentic! I could live here... imagine making videos here in the winter! 🔥🔥🔥

Det er en utrolig følelse at du fra Norge dro på besøk til hjemlandet mitt. Jeg vil takke den norske regjeringen for å ha bevist meg muligheten til å blomstre utdannelsen min i ditt land.❤

I can't tell you how much I love these videos! Harold, you are bringing places to people who would never otherwise get to experience them. It's the next best thing to experiencing first hand.

This one ticks every single box for me. It literally has a bit of every thing I love in your videos. Mustang is absolutely stunning. The people seem lovely, the architecture is beautiful. It's peaceful and quiet. Filled with personally fascinating history. A bit of market and invading. And a YT. One of my my favorites you've made, Harald. Thanks. Ps. We're those JEAN shorts you were wearing?!

Many people travel to central and western region !!! Very Few people travel to mid western region !!! The infrastructure is not so good but the views are amazing!!! If you are travelling often to Nepal then I would suggest you to explore Khaptab National park ,Badimalika ,or shey phoksundo lake !!! It’s difficult route and lacks facilities but if you get proper information about that place you will discover a different landscape!!!

Thank sir Norseman Harald for your awesome images from Marpha village. I remember walking to this village in another life. This village was the center of a main trading route not long ago. People were rich traders. You can tell how rich is the achitecture and wood working doors and windows. I remember there was also a runing water undergroud systeme. If you are curius wil walking in the river bed you could fine ammonite. I past there in 2000 after thorungla and i was on top of rhe world. Today you give all these awesome souvenir back to me. Merci Harald.
