I've watched HB from the beginning of his ventures. There have been countless times when I've cringed with my own adrenaline shooting to my toes as he scales those rock cliffs, swims rough waters, rides on various contraptions and spends the night in total strangers homes. Harold Balder is a modern day super hero whom defies the deadliest of snakes, ferocious carnivores, and gut-wrenching illnesses. Harold Balder is a "real-life" Indiana Jones. Keep on sir Harold, you my friend are quite the Superstar! Come to Arizona again and you've got yourself a huge Porterhouse compliments of me. Safe travels good sir!

That last shot was INCREDIBLE - in one shot - you have a desert mountain, a greenery mountain, and at the very end, a snow mountain !!! You do NOT seen that everyday - 3 different mountains all visible with 3 different climates and ecosystems. AMAZING !!!

The COOLEST thing about this village is that it's actually made out of surrounding elements! Just imagine a group of people just decided to stay there and a village was started from the single rock. People really don't need much to survive. Just a simple shelter and a few goats. And actually they will be healthier just drinking goat milk and eating dried apples. Modern people are sick because of excess. Things like cheetoes and soda drinks...

Another GREAT video !!! Harald, I've never told you this, but after watching your videos for the past few years, even your appearances on Bald's channel, you've changed so much in terms of your whole aura and spirit... in a GREAT and POSITIVE way... I can't put my nail on it, but you're glowing with such a happy and buzzing spirit. That child like wonder and zeal for life. I think in the past, you seemed a bit more reserved and quiet at times. But these trips to the Himalayas, you seem the most passionate and happy I've ever see you. And now you bring that with you to all the other cities you visit around the world. I thought I would just point out as an objective observer, you've grown so much as a person, and I respect that so very much.

I’m not trekking just wandering about in lower Mustang which doesn’t have the guide rule. The border to upper mustang is about 45 min walk from where I started this video and there are checkpoints there to ensure you’ve paid your $1300 USD to enter and that a local is holding your hand as you walk on the gravel road it’s impossible to get lost on 🤦♂️

"That you bought the ticket and popcorn for!"@@CryptoGrifters - ... and in Nepal were forced by the government to pay for against your will... so it wasn't even your choice to bring the movie spoiler to begin with 🤦🏼♂ If it wasn't like that I would've continued further up this valley as this is the last episode. I cannot go further without a guide and paying $1300 dollars. I'd be happy to pay that money as a protected nature reserve fee or whatever they want to call it but I do not want some dude telling me what hill I can and cannot climb because it may be a risk to my personal safety. So now hundreds of thousands of people who would've loved to see the beauty of upper Mustang (and possibly afterwards travel there themselves) here on my channel will now not see it. Local businesses will not be promoted and the Didi of upper Mustang and potentially many other deserving business owners just like her will not be found. Forcing guides upon people in safe well known paths and roads where Nepalis can walk freely without any experience is a joke and incredibly damaging for tourism.
