Not every force user has the same level of force potential and can't be expected to be capable of the same feats Starkiller was. Ashoka was very powerful for a Padawan especially from season 5 of The Clone Wars onward but she's no match for 20 people by herself. But someone like Cal Kestis probably could take on 20 guys without much issue, does that mean he's a better Jedi than Ashoka? No he's just better equipped for combat situations that don't involve droids. Obi-wan was not as powerful in the force nor was he as good of a lightsaber duelist as Anakin yet Anakin still lost their duel on Mustafar, not because Obi-wan was stronger but because he was smarter and more experienced.

Concerning the Kota Question: either he withdrew from the force as best as he could because of his failure or he tested Galen. Let me explain the reasoning. In the extended Lore Kota is descripted as a very confident man thinking highly of his skills since he achieved everything despite comming later into the order then anyone else (we has already commanded tropps at the point) . His failure must have been all the more devastating to him. So he might have succumbed to self - doubt and rejected the force. More likely he did this until it called to him on Bespin. When he felt Galen he might have suspected his identity. but pretending to be blind to the force would have given him a chance to see how Galen dealt with an "easy pawn". Galen could have used the situation way more if he wanted but the way he interacted with Kota showed him to be the troubled individual that Kota knew he would find after his vision. Just my thoughts.

To answer your issue with people suddenly changing kyber crystals. In the lore you can "bleed" any crystal to turn it red by forcing darkness on it. This explains how Maris Brood had two red sabers. However ive never heard of healing a kyber crystal so im unsure how Galen got his hands on blue.. though it does make sense to have a light side variation of the process he was not actually lightside at that time. Only just being ordered to pretend to.

That's for current lore Though. Time of this games release it was just synthetic kyber crystals the Sith used. (if i remember correctly Red isn't a color Kyber crystals take.) The part in the Death Star where you were frustrated with having to wait for the beams isn’t as bad as you made it appear. In the footage, it seems like you are stopping and waiting every single time the beam is firing, which isn’t necessary. You can simply walk on either side of the beam while it’s firing as long as you do not go directly in its path, which cuts down on a ton of waiting. The only times you truly have to wait are when you need to break through the green glass (since there are no side paths there) and if the beam is firing during the section where you have to align the 3 rings. To me, those few slowdowns aren’t obnoxious and add some tension, but to each their own.

So I believe you’re miss interpreting the conversation at the beginning of the game between Galen and Kota. Kota says something along the lines of “I can see your future boy, Vader won’t always be your master… I can sense… I sense only … Me.” The way this plays out as Kota is seeing the premonition. He can tell Galen’s not inherently evil like others who draw on the dark side, more over he almost has a resistance to it much Like Revan did, once he reclaimed his memories. Kota then realizes that while he can clearly see Vader won’t always be his master, Kotas own interpretation of the vision changes as he experiences fear. The only thing he can see in the vision is Starkillers intention and determination of killing Kota in the immediate future. This isn’t Kota realizing he would eventually become his master, Kota probably had no idea. This is Kota realizing that the outcome of Starkillers future involved Kota no matter what. Which shook Kota realizing his vision had changed. You can hear it in the way his tone of voice and pitch change and get higher when he says “me…!” you can hear that uncertainty and fear. Infact without this premonition Kota probably would have overpowered Galen and won the fight, this is shown by how starkiller reacts to Kota detaching the bridge. The only reason I believe starkiller won, as you can see, Starkiller gains the advantage of the saber lock as Kota slips into this impending doom, which rattles him and causes the Master Jedi to falter in his contest of strength.

If you take long enough in the fight, the room you're in enters the planets atmosphere and starts burning up. You actually start taking damage if you stand on the hot floor and so does kota if you knock him into it. And when the qte starts, i assume that the room is no longer burning up due to some wierd physics stuff lol.

The reason he calls Marris Brood a slave to the dark side is because he's self reflecting, for the first time ever he's finally seeing what HE is, and he hates it, further still when she promises to leave the dark side behind he reasons that she deserves a second chance, just like he does, I think Marris as a character exists to push along Starkillers character development Another thing, I believe the reason Kotor withholds information from Starkiller is because he doesn't fully trust him, and he's trying to see which direction he will go

I get this is the first vid on the channel and all, but the way your audio peaks in the rant segments is *very* annoying. That aside, your big rant about the "I lied as I have from the very beginning" line is especially aggravating because of how literal you took it. Vader isn't referring to his very first interaction with Starkiller. For one, the latter is a toddler who more than likely forgot/suppressed that memory; while the former never hinted at anything with "come with me if you wanna live" beyond just that. Vader was visibly surprised to find the kid there with the power greater than the Jedi master he just clobbered, yet you think he came up with the grand deception within those seconds? Vader's obviously saying he lied about his intent in starting the rebellion through Starkiller. The lie being the "take your revenge and fulfill your destiny" lines from that scene in the medical room. He could care less about the rebellion aspect since stomping out rebellion is just Tuesday to him, and how he found his apprentice in the first place. The goal was always to gather the empire's political enemies as a distraction to all the attention Vader put on himself by training a secret apprentice in the first place. One that's conquered two worlds and killed two Jedi masters in very short succession, something that even without Palpatine's immense power in the force; in sensing things especially, would make Vader look mighty suspicious. The rebellion rising gave Vader time to get away from the prying eyes of Palpatine and his spies, to do his job of stomping out another rebellion, to deliver the leaders to Palpatine for personal execution. The final presents two very likely possible outcomes. The first is that this act of presenting the enemies of the empire grants Vader a proverbial gold star from his master, proving his loyalty to the empire and more importantly his loyalty to the dark side in manipulating so much to achieve this day. The second possibility is a deception tactic to make Palpatine blind with pride in humiliating/executing the rebel leaders that he takes that moment to overthrow him. Both are plausible and can be inferred from, but above all else are rendered null by Starkiller coming back; thus throwing a wrench into both scenarios. The part that made me pause the vid to collect my thoughts for this novel of a comment was when you thought Sideous saying he knew meant he was in on the plot from the beginning too. There's this wonderful thing in writing called inference; where the story trusts you enough to put two and two together from a few nuggets. This line, tucked away in the alternative ending no less, is that. Palpatine learned second-hand about Starkiller, be it through spies, through the sheer noise made by star destroyers crashing and planets being conquered with little to no imperial survivors, or through him just sensing the presence in the force (reminder, he senses Vader's defeat on Mustafar all the way from Corescant in ROTS); the way he learned is irrelevant and left up to inference for that reason. If Vader told him about the *secret* apprentice he trains with the express intent of becoming the next Sith, Palpatine would've just took Starkiller and made him one of his many backup plans for betraying Vader. Palpatine says he 'always knew of the plan' because the betrayal game is page one of the Sith handbook, one Palpatine routinely took part in with him training Maul while he was still Plageuis' apprentice; or grooming Dooku and Anakin practically at the same time; or his own list of backup ideas for betraying Vader all the way up to him wanting to groom Luke in ROTJ. Upon learning of this secret apprentice, Palpatine orders he be killed to test Vader's loyalty, and again it's left to inference whether he knows of his survival alongside Vader or not. But allows the rebellion plot to play out because it gives him the pride of seeing Vader's commitment to the empire and the dark side, it gives him his political enemies hand delivered to him, and it gives several chances for the Starkiller problem to be dealt with once and for all. Be it from crashing star destroyers, Vader doing his job, or Palps doing it himself. The gains outweigh the losses when Starkiller himself says neither care about disposable money and assets. All in all this review was okay in everything but rants and this one was especially rough to listen to. The one point you had was Starkiller's "you agreed" line being nowhere in the script before the fight, and it should've been left at that. You really missed the mark on the rest of the rant m8.

Did some research after reading this. You're correct that there is a lightsaber color change in the lore through an effect called bleeding, and this would explain Maris' lightsaber change, but it would have to be the fastest bleed in all of Star Wars lore. It would also create a continuity error if bleeding happened at that pace with Starkiller's new blue crystal not turning eventually red. Thank you for the information. Also, there are still natural red crystals and they can be materially synthesized from other crystals, so bleeding isn't the only red crystals explanation in Star Wars lore.
