The Ford 5000 Tractor: I disassemble the instrument cluster to see if I can repair the tachometer.

Yikes! Talk about rust. Years of water intrusion have really done a number on the tachometer on my Ford 5000 row crop.

Hello Steve Very helpful thank you, I have a Ford 3600 and it is the hours trip that’s my problem, as you dismantled the cluster you discovered the rivets that don’t allow you to dismantle it any further. Game over for me😢 It’s a shame to have to buy new as hours no longer represent tractors life. Enjoyed your work bench with all the interesting bits and pieces.👍
