It's funny how fluid it actually looks, and sometimes if its not too crappy on purpose, it looks great As in the backgrounds, or small details like: the exposure changing, and Celestia's irises shrinking when the light turns on, the constant flow of her mane, the beat to the death frog painting also looks nice. And also all movement goes right with what is happening, all emotion is put into movement of the body, bah when Celestia pretends to be poisoned by the frog the screen shakes appropriately.

Yeah, there's so much cohesion between all the small details that it creates a real strong sense of belief in the characters and scene. At that point, the art style becomes a whimsical adventure, while the detail cohesion suspends disbelief.
