We were smacking them on big spinner baits when the water temps were in the 50s. Temp for us has dropped to the low fortys, spinnerbait byte has dropped off, I'm only having luck with shad raps. Good video as usual, keep reporting the water temp I think that is nice to know.

Man i love spinnerbait fishing. Everytime i go fishing i at least throw one for a couple hours. I've found that the double willows typically gets me more bites during the day, and at night the colorados shine. Now in really muddy water the colorado's will trypically produce more bites. Also in early prespawn, i like throwing one that has a small colorado close to the head, and a giant willow up top. I mainly fish highland deep reservoir's here in southern ky. Dale hollow, lake cumberland, and barren river lake. Anyways love the vids!

Title says COLD WATER technique and homie says “water is 55deg.” brother…. That is NOT that cold with respects to water temps. Cold is more 47-33. In Illinois I’d say you get the best fish when the water is in the 50s.. cuz it’s not that cold
