I’ve caught well with that bait. I’ve had better luck using 8 lb mono leader. It’s a hard bait to keep up & have the right retrieve speed

You will be amazed how much it will affect your relationship.

Pick up some Anis extract next time you go to the grocery. It will be in the spices section. Fish love Anis!!!

I do that with crankbaits when it's 100⁰ out. I sweat my arse off but they slam!

I use to put some scent on a jerkbait when pike fishing and let me tell you it was night and day. My buddy was using the same jerkbait same setup doing the same thing and couldn’t buy a bite and they were destroying mine. It was a greasy scent and would not come off the jerkbait.

Never had any luck with bait fuel

New here. That weed whacker is driving me ears crazy! Lol I'm a girl who loves fishing but right now my fav spot is flooded! I fish in rapids below a dam and I catch some decent small mouth. So lately I've been taking the kayak out to the lake and MAN it's a different world! Just tried my first drop shot today. No luck, but then again, it's August so whatcha gonna do? Come on KZbin and get tips from the pros!! 😅

Anise oil and crawfish oil at times. Seems to me it's hit or miss.

I'm know they love garlic I've been using it for years and years..I also used the spikeit. Haven't used coffee scent.. I'd like to have a recipe for that. We had a really good day today on the water, we cought 17 or 18 good quality fish using the garlic scent on the plastics. Thanks for the video coach can't wait to see your next one 👍❤️

I think some attractants expire so may not be as effective. Idk. Fishermen are really good at storing stuff for a long time.

Here is what I have, in order of effectiveness: chartreuse garlic Spike-it, Berkley Powerbait, B.A.N.G. pure craw , B.A.N.G. Shad formula, Belly Jelly Bass Hammer, and, Bait Fuel Fish Attractant. I try not to mix any attractant with a bait that already has scent attraction mixed in it. I also noticed that the further I move downstream into an estuary, the less bites I get using juice, especially Spike-it. I believe it helps with old plastics that begin getting a smell, maybe a taste too, of the synthetic compounds of the base products lures are made out of. Some lures have a strong chemical smell right out of the package and those I don't think entice fish by smell but by action. I also don't add attractants to baits like Keitech's because of the squid-based oils. That is one bait that I think the squid scent really matters in being a major factor.
