Also, every single one needs a transmission and valve cover gaskets (access sucks) And the scene kids give up shortly thereafter. Once they are manual swapped they are hands down the nicest driving subaru of all time. (Sti coilovers fit)

That car is so well put together. Lots of small details and the overall appearance works so well. I'm not a fan of the baby yoda or rear glass sticker, but I can appreciate that those almost give it a japanese wangan midnight racer club vibe. Most of these have been neglected over the years, but this one is so well preserved. The Tesla wheels are a great pairing, makes the whole thing look like a 90s vision of future cars... The future we wanted, not these bloated appliance cars. Awesome!

@@Serveck Ended up throwing a new outback trans in because it wasn't my choice.... Grandmother owns the car and thinks she knows more than me.... It would have been cheaper to source a 5 speed manual and have a shop fit it than the 4500 we paid for a new fucking outback automatic

Ontop of that I have taken it into for exhaust issues twice still has fucking issues..... About to just rip the fucking thing out myself and install a new exhaust system

I had 2, ran the 92 to 150 twice.enjoyed them very much and miss them. It was always my favorite design. The wrx I have now is quick lighter and fun but there is just something about the svx I'll miss... Keep it dude, take care of it, it's very nice.

Oh it was an eye catcher, back when I was a kid, this thing stood out to me at the very first sight of one. It's just that everyone bashed it to no end that I let go of the thought of potentially copping one of these once I was old enough to drive. But I did have me a 17 WRX and now that I don't have it (stupidly traded for a 20 Civic Si), and see this tastefully done SVX, I'm seriously missing that Scoobie. Not saying honda is bad, but it is quite sterile next to the raw feel of the Subaru.

That brought back memeories of my 1994 SVX in Laguna Blue Pearl. I wish retained it and used it for a project car. The Alcyone logo on the center caps were a nice touch. The engine needed an additional oil cooler and the transmission were the only issues I had. The brakes were amazing on this car! Great video! Were you able to achieve performance gains?
