I got it on launch day, I was 8 the time. I beat the game in like 2 days and my mom was pissed at how quickly I beat it. I than annoyed her to buy me Luigis Mansion which I than beat in another 2 days. She dident get me any games for awhile after that. It's a good game for what we did get. It is a short game as everyone knows now. I love Wario Land 4 and wish we get a game like it sooner than later, it's been to long!

I got Wario World as one of my first GameCube games when I was 7 or 8. I really enjoyed it as a bit of a platforming brawler. It had really interesting character designs as well, I'll never forget the very flamboyant bull person that you fight in I guess a volcano? Overall it's a solid experience that's a bit repetitive but I thing the interesting level designs make up for it.

Wario World is in my top 5 Gamecube games. I love it so much I got a Japanese game cube to fight the special final boss from the Japanese version. It was well worth it. I also think this is Charles Martinet’s best performance.

I remember this purely because Treasure worked on it and Treasure really does good stuff. Gunstar Heroes being one of my favorite games from them. There's a Wario game on the DS that looks fantastic. You should give it a play.

A friend let me play Wario World, and then borrow it for a while in the mid 2000s. When I eventually decided I wanted to own a copy, I kept an eye out for it for the longest time, but couldnt find a copy. Finally I discovered a disc-only copy in the final months of my local Gamestop carrying Gamecube titles and got it for $10. My only regret was not getting it complete. Game has gotten expensive since then...

Me and a friend actually played this game from start to finish, pretty much 100% the game, and had one hell of a time with the mini stages. We'd pass the controller every time one of us failed, and there was a LOT of fails, namely falling off the stage and hearing Wario screeching every time it happened. My friend for awhile actually had the Wario screech as a text message alert. I honestly want another Wario Land related game and not the Wario Ware nonsense that has been done to death, it's way overdue for one.

Great video. I really love this game and would honestly call it my favorite solo Wario adventure. It’s a shame that it feels like Nintendo ignores a lot of their games that came out on GameCube but this should totally be rereleased.

I remember trying that out. It looked nice and the gameplay was fun, but I hated the forced gimmick of having to manually draw each disguise. Though I suppose that’s a hardware problem from developers having to force a touchscreen gimmick to justify itself, despite how awkward it usually becomes.

I never played it due to its marketing. I didn't know what kind of game it was, it seemed like disconnected stages, with a focus on getting lots of gold. Didn't look interesting, but you have sold me! Now i wish it was 2006 again, and i could still find it used at game shops for less than the cost of rent...

I loved this game growing up. It’s a very wild 3D platformer that seems to have some small issues, but is overall a solid time. Really wish they would give Wario in 3D another chance, as the odd charm is through the roof with all the weird and wild creatures you fight. Also, gotta say, I thought it was weird that Wario was in 3D before Kirby lmao (3D Kirby game did get canned for GCN)

I really wish they would try their hand at another Wario game. Take this format but flesh it out. Have Wario play as a brawler platformer akin to the Werehog of Sonic Unleashed, and maybe include badges or gems that give him special abilities to help deal with stronger and more difficult enemies. Nothing against the Warioware series, it's fun, but it's worn out its welcome.

I 100% completed this game, and while it was fun, there’s just not any reason to replay it. When you finish the game, there’s nothing to do other than play just for the sake of it. While I doubt Nintendo will ever do anything because how much they hate their fans, I’d love a remaster that adds multiplayer and some sort of New Game+.

For me this was...a good enough game it's cool and all but unlike the Land series i never replayed this one because i don't know but someday i will do it and also fun fact the japanese version of the final boss has a different track...that's weird. Yes this game needs to be more readily available and Wario deserves more platforming games. Also now that you mentioned them you have to do both sin and punishment games also Mischief Makers my beloved hidden gem of the N64 was made by Treasure too.
