I'm writing this after Monza 2022. Max Verstappen has won 5 on the trot and doesn't look like slowing down now, and has the opportunity to clinch the title at Singapore with 5 races to go, equaling Mansel. it is almost without question that Max will beat Schumacher's record for most wins in a season, and Seb's record is looking more and more beatable every race. It just goes to show, when Ferrari, or Mercedes, or Mclaren or whoever are at the top, there's always a chance of an upset. But when everything comes together in a season for Redbull, it's like there's only 2 cars on the track.

That record was equaled by Vettel in 2013. But I agree. Max will definitely brake it.

I'm a Grosjean fan since 2012 and it stings me a little to see how amazing he was in 2013... I wish he had gotten at least 1 victory or a world title challenge... He could've been so much better...

he'd parked in the wall m8, or crashed in his teammate... or Ericson would have hit him! Eeven in his last F1 race he did what he did best

Given how Ferrari manage to fuck up at circuits they're strong at, yeah. Its possible for max to beat this record

Even if they had a rocket strapped to the back a lot can go wrong, I can see it happening though.

RB reliability is a real concern this year. Max can do it definitely but i dont think RB18 can

Round 19: Brazil. It was Vettel's 9th win, but also it was his last waltz, for his career took a definitive nose dive from that point on. For starters, he had his ass minced and shellaced by Ricciardo in 2014, who won 3 caces while Vettel won ZERO races. Then there seemed like a rehearse for a comeback at Ferrari that did not materialize by any means. The rest is history.

2018 season was the closest Vettel got to winning his 5th title. Then he binned it with that crash in Hockenheim.
