One of the main reasons why people find themselves stuck in a dead-end job and unfulfilling life is that they have not taken the time to ask, ‘What exactly do I want for myself.’ Here to discuss this issue is the multi-company CEO, real estate investor, and contributing author to Jack Canfield’s book Success Formula, Anne Marie Smith.
After a difficult separation with her ex-husband, Anne Marie Smith found herself broke and living with a family member about 22 years ago. Feeling hopeless and lost, she began reading books on business and self-improvement. It was then she decided to make a list of everything she wanted out of life, regardless of how ludicrous it seemed, how far away it all was, or what others would think.
It was this simple task that gave her the motivation to launch her career, helping her achieve her personal and financial goals, and giving her the opportunities to provide inexpensive housing for disadvantaged families.
Today, she is going to talk about the difficulties she experienced, her journey up, and how having a clear vision of your goals is the first and most important step towards reaching them.

I owned a townhouse rental unit. My best tenant was a blue collar working couple with one child. Every thing in the unit was clean and in working order but not as updated as other non-rental units. I charged enough rent to cover mortgage and taxes including a small surplus for repairs and tax increases and never raised their rent for the 8 years they lived there. They never were late paying their rent and never damaged anything. It was a win/win situation. They eventually purchased their own town home in the same complex.

Thank you two so much. To actually hear a person living by faith. It sounds crazy in the natural. I've been stuck in life. No more, no more. Awesome interview. So busy being a single mom, I forgot about having an abundant life. Thank you, thank you. Vision, getting educating on what you want, moving out to get it.

I do this too. It works. The most important part is at the very end of the video. She says, it's that once you know what you want, deeply, it moves you into action. You may consciously know how you're going to get it, or it may be unconscious and appear like magic. Regardless how it works, it works. Manifesting wants works exceptionally well for me, because I come from a programming background. Building software is the process of building solutions. You're given a vision and you build it. When you get good at making a vision a reality, all you need is goals. Your unconscious will do the rest, because it knows how. And no, you don't need to have experience writing code to do this. You just have to have solved a single problem in your life successfully.

I loved this episode. Grreat job here Anne Marie and Kim! It touches again the subject of "Think and Grow Rich" if you have a burning desire that is clear and well defined in your mind and if you have warm feelings about it which also means that you have a definite interest about it and weak contradictory feelings about it (the yeah...but kind of inner dialogue in your mind), then you will get impulses to, as Kim mentions many times, NATURAL ACTION which can also be said as INSPIRED ACTION. If you feel that you need to force it, instead of wanting to do it, I think it is best to not act for the moment. I know the main "but" is if I only make my list of desires and if I don´t act then they won´t fall on my front door just like that. Of course action is involved in the equation but it will be from a stance of "I want to take action because it is fun and exciting" and not from a stance "I need to to take action because I am in fear and anger". Natural (or Inspired) is a key element. When desiring to achieve a goal, there are many elements that we do not control and therefore they need to become cooperative components; that only happens when we take NATURAL ACTIONS. Thank you Kim. Love you!

There are a lot of strategies to make tongue-wetting profit that the average joes don't know. . Personally, the financial-market for me seems the only way forward with my long time horizon (accrued roughly $457k in gains since Mid 2021 ) but if you don’t have that fortune of time it’s a tough market out there almost nowhere feels safe!

9:03 I never thought about doing this....Exactly like going into a restaurant and ordering what you want, apply that for life. Act is if money was never a problem, the sky is the limit. The trick is it needs to scare you. So if you just write down $250,000 casually and it doesn't scare you, it's not enough. Even though that is a lot of money, go beyond that.

I love this Ann Marie, just order exactly what you want! I have been in many "McDonalds" in my life trying to order pizza and it just doesn't work. At some point you figure out that maybe not what you want is the problem, but WHERE you try to order it from. Is what you have to offer and what you are looking for really aligned with the other party? There is no point in hitting your head against closed doors, just change the door and believe that somewhere out there is someone or something as urgently looking for you as you are looking for them. This approach has always lifted me up and helped me to evolve.

Hmm, to each his/her own, I guess. i don't really care about having a fancy car. Heck, my favorite vehicle is a 2500 dollar truck that looks like it belongs in Syria. When I was a kid I was very focused on "training and developing my mind". When I was 12 or 13 I joined this group where they'd have mental exercises and one of their teachings was to visualize what you want without worrying about the "how". That would set you on that path somehow. Unfortunately, I got wrapped up in depression a few years later and I ended up spending my life doing the opposite. Depression makes you not want anything and only focus on the negative. When I focused on what I wanted, I would get it one way or another.

I listened to a lot about sports cars and materialism marketing. It's beautiful to be motivated and be fulfilled. But we as humans, habitants on this planet must think better. One of the most important things in an ecosystem is sustainability. If everyone wanted a Porsche or a Ferrari, would be a great waste of resources to invest in something better for the world. Let's compare this to children's behavior, they want all the ice cream and candy, but we as parents have to explain to them it is not healthy. Why? because we have a higher knowledge or conscience. The same as future generations of humans will look back and think about how uninformed and lack of sensibility we had to want so many material things that only impoverished our planet and the development of conscience. I want to see multi-millionaires and billionaires with more focus on creating projects for worldwide being to prevent that the world collapses. the shift is already happening. Time to stop materialism marketing for young people and everyone in general.
