John was an actor who appeared in several westerns including King of the Royal Mounted, King of the Texas Rangers, Heldorado and The Far Frontier. John also was one of the writers for the Ronald Reagan western Law and Order. This episode was originally released on The Westerns Channel on December 29 of 2019. This is not a shootem-up western. This is a very clever, witty, funny, comedy that takes place in 1902 San Francisco, when the west was becoming more mild than wild. If you are familiar with the Maverick western tv series this will probably remind you of several episodes of that show. Originally broadcast in 1954 as part of the Four Star Playhouse. This is episode 86 of The Forsaken Westerns, Season 3 episode 28. The Forsaken Westerns is an original TV series produced by Westerns On The Web and The Westerns Channel Productions. In this episode Bank Teller Andy Fields ( David Niven) has some self-esteem problems to overcome. Along the way is some fun twists.
