I liked all lectures in this cource very much. And I learned quite a lot. I want to gratulate you for your courage to make your cources open for an interested public. After the cource I looked around to find other interesting courses, but there are none execept of yours. Thank you very much. One remark. I liked very much that you wrote a lot of text. For me as a german biologist, who knows the scientific jargon, it was very important to see the spelling of some expressions, which in german pronounciation of the latin-greek words is very different from that in american english.

Benjamin, do you have the refs for the occurrence of the Colocasia (Araceae) of the GRF? Also Astronium (Anacardiaceae)? Fascinating! Thanks. What a treasure trove these videos are!

I would check out Lance Grande's book www.amazon.com/Lost-World-Fossil-Lake-Snapshots/dp/0226922960/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8 Lists all fossil plant occurrences in the Green River Formation.

Sycamores are also native to California, not just in the east.

There are two western sycamore species, Platanus racemosa in California and Platanus wrightii in Arizona and New Mexico.
