About The Fosters:
“The Fosters” is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of adopted and biological teenaged kids being raised by two moms. Stef Adams Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her wife, Lena Adams Foster, a school vice principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon; their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus; and newly adopted siblings, Jude, and his half-sister, Callie. As the third season of “The Fosters” continues, former foster teen Callie is now officially adopted into the Adams Foster family. She must put aside any romantic feelings for Brandon and does so by throwing herself into her “Fost and Found” website, even drawing the interest of an investor. After his performance at Disney Hall, Brandon focuses his energy on his music, working with Mat on a musical for their senior project. Mariana’s relationship with Mat is still estranged, so she turns her attention toward running for junior class president. Jesus makes a friend who is into street racing and, at his prompting, questions Ana about his biological father. When Mike discovers a secret that his foster son AJ is keeping, he is torn about what to do with the information. Jude must face the fact that his boyfriend has decided to move away while a serious medical issue for Stef results in a clash of opinions between her wife, Lena, and her mother, Sharon. Winner of a Television Academy Honors Award and GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series.

The fact that this is happening each and every day separating children from their parents when most of these people have never done anything wrong breaks my heart

With all due respect being here illegally is wrong and a crime. No one protests the separation of family members when someone is sent to jail or prison (and, thus, taken away from their family) for let's say possession or burglary.

Yes, it's sad. But that doesn't mean people who are here unlawfully should just be allowed to stay. With all due respect, it was NOT "for no reason" that ICE chased Ximena and her family and took the parents away. Maybe they are indeed good people, but they did break the law, and the ICE members are simply enforcing the law by removing people who are not rightfully/lawfully in the country. Perhaps some of the methods ICE uses should be modified (to be gentler), but the arrest, detention, and deportation of people here unlawfully is reasonable and, well, in line with the law and with our nation's sovereignty.

Brooklynn Harpet that’s a dumb and baseless argument. As if there’s no crazy and dangerous ppl that live here. And just because there are “crazy ppl there doesn’t mean that u just allow anyone into the country regardless of why they claim they’re here. There’s a reason None of the countries they’d be coming from would allow illegals to just stay in the country if they found out and their own immigration policies are a lot tougher than our own so you’re the one who should stop making ignorant statements

There's no doubt that it's stressful, but, if they are just enforcing the law by detaining and removing people who are not authorized to be here, that's not cruelty; that's upholding the law.

This scene made me cry. It's sad how the immigrants in America, aren't here to do any harm. They just want to live a happy life and have a family. President Trump, is tearing families apart and taking innocent parents and kids away from their homes and deporting them back to Mexico. As a Hispanic, this breaks my heart. Trump is encouraging the government to build a wall and divide people.
@CP-yd7lp

C P I disagree, I'm hispanic. Even if their illegal and not doing any crimes, they shouldn't be deported because they're tearing families apart and kids who were seperated from their parents at a young don't even remember their parents when they get to reunite.

Emma Rae to add on to this (please correct me if I say anything incorrect), a lot of people can’t afford to go through the process to get to America, it costs a lot of money and time, which is why people illegally come into America. Imagine being ripped away from your family without a choice and then to think that your family is in a completely different country than with no contact with you at all, it’s horrifying to think about. I know it’s the law, but the law needs to change, at least be improved, or the process of coming to America needs to be better so that families aren’t being ripped apart. Also, people illegally come to America for many reasons and most of the time it’s because they’re trying to create a better and safer life for themselves and their family. In conclusion, the system is made so that Hispanics have no choice but to come to America illegally resulting in them being arrested and it’s disgusting that that’s the way the government thinks. This country needs change so that it really is a safe place for all races, religions, etc..

This clip made me cry. People say ice is just doing there job but how do people have the heart to apply for jobs that barge into people's home and tear the families living in these homes apart? How do they sleep at night knowing they separated a family that day? How can you live with yourself knowing you made somebody leave there home with out a choice and them begging you to give them a chance and let them stay? These people have put there lives in a place that they have decided to make/raise their family in. There whole lives are here in America. How can you ever say America was/is great if its deciding to tear some innocent families away from there home.These people are now afraid to simply walk out of there home, some of these people are even afraid to be in there own house. So, how can you defend ice ? How?

EXACTLY!!People don't understand what we go through, knowing that our family could be taken in a matter of seconds, they say ice makes a difference... with what knowing that they're guaranteed money, home, everything, and yet we have to suffer, ICE doesn't make a difference they hurt more and more people by what, making america great again, that's BS and we all know it, put yourself in our shoes and you'll realize that when families make sacrifices for their home, kids, and it gets taken in a matter of seconds you will then realize the pain we go through when ICE takes our families. How does someone live like that taking someone against their will and have them beg for a second chance? How can you support someone like that, taking people's families, and know that they just sleep well at night while we suffer. How?

Atheist Lego I’m guessing you were born here judging by how you’re talking or you immigrated here from a western country. All of you who talks about immigration like all you have to do is apply for shit and bam haven’t actually gone through the process and don’t know how incredibly difficult it is especially if you aren’t from a predominantly white country or rich country. They make it 10 times harder if you’re from a country from Africa or Mexico or Cuba etc. and also it’s expensive as shit. These families just want opportunities for their children and themselves but you all act like they’re criminals stealing from you or something

@CP-yd7lp 2 жыл бұрын
@@joewhitehead3 It's not a terrible law that people are not allowed to be here without authorization. They shouldn't have jobs here if they're here unlawfully. It's great that they pay taxes, but they get a lot more out of being here. Having a family doesn't make someone immune to the law. Every day, American citizens are separated from their children when they're arrested for committing a crime. If a family is separated by something like that, it's the fault of the person who broke the law, not the law enforcement agent. This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land is meant to show that we're a diverse country and that people here should coexist. Nowhere in the song does it say it's ok to come here illegally and live here illegally.
