'Design and Manage' is a Cities: Skylines let's play series that focuses on what are for me two core aspects of the game: Design (eye candy, aesthetically pleasing layouts, road systems and districts) and Management (earning a positive income while providing all necessary services to maintain a functional city and a healthy traffic flow).
The only mods used in this series are visual enhancements.

Given the university is so close to the zoo I think it'd be cool if you could place a study hall or something right next to it and make it out to be the zoology department or something, it feels like the sort of connection that might be in place

A little advice in a zoo. Make a lake in the middle, with water outlet in the bottom of it, and a canal on the edge of the lake directing into a river to prevent water outlet flooding, trust me it will look beautiful

I really like the systematic way you pre-plan new areas. And the way you play from a very high elevation helps to visualize the process nicely.

Wow this is great! I'm actually learning the game by following your videos and recreating the same city (I just finished the park - super awesome fun :) and I was already thinking "I will definitely put a zoo in this city, regardless if T4arget will put one or not" - and here you are dropping a zoo episode! Can't wait to catch up, but I can see that the highway makeover will be a fun pain!

If I put stops so close on a main road like you did, I put them by intersections where pedestrians can walk and one goes on left side of the street. The other goes on the right side. Nice pathways!

When mixing high and low density it cam look more realistic if you lock high density early in development by checking of the "Historical building" off when the desired high is developed. Other method is by limiting the tilse you zone to smaller then 4X4. All the way down to 1X1. Sure you know this already.

Nice! Can't wait until you fully decorate the zoo! I think you might need a little bit more space tho, the level 5 attractions are pretty huge. Maybe add a tourist walk/bus in the zoo area too?

We have cars in the game and yet, 1) Where’s the gas station? and 2) Where’s the car wash? Also, when new residential building are constructed and people move in... No way they would fit all of their belongings in a car. LET ALONE, having to carry in a metro.

Maybe make a one small square zone with all the types schools and some playground, parks, or tennis, basket etc. Like a small "campus" style.

Zoo is great but could have done with a much bigger area :-) like the between railway and motorway in the same area looks great for it :-) i looking for some who is building Chester zoo what has is own monorail in the zoo :-)

well well.....am i the only one who thinks that the zoo is super small.....like the zoos in my area r about size of a whole town....nearly having a whole forest in it.....it even has its own bus, van, bicycle, small golf cart like car supports inside that itself......it takes nearly whole day...to actually visit all the main attractions, and some more places alone....i just checked its...almost 6 square km... may be its just me....and...zoos in other places r small.....

You know you don't have to build an entrance and then keep deleting and rebuilding it, right? You can just build it once and then relocating it a few times. Much cheaper and less clicking...
