I am a fan of her, she's got more acting chops than most stars today. She was just not that into showbiz as most of her contemporary. She was great in Brothers & Sisters and my fave Cat Grant. It's just that people know her as Ally & most of the time they just let it be the only show they watch. She's more than Ally, not that she minds that but people just don't get pass Ally She was great as Ally, she made quirky & smart acceptable but inside she's tough when she needs to be.

I went to La Cote Basque Several times and the food was very RICH ! not diet fodder at ALL..but I guess they did special plates for the SWANS

'They live on air, and water, and tiny portions of very rare meats' What a brilliant line. The writers of this show should take a general bow, because it will have been difficult to write characters renowned for their wit like Capote, and they nailed it. We often priase the actors but I don't think the writers get wnlugh credit. They are the most integral element of a good production when you think about it. Crappy writing can't be saved by even the likes of Cate Blanchett or Meryl Streep. And it is the interpretation and understanding of the lines that distinguishes how good the acting is.

Any color nail polish existed in the 70s! But I have never seen a picture of Lee wearing anything but pale, nude or transparent nail polish! Not even red.
