This is pure awesomeness. I totally love this lesson. Love and light. I watch your clips on my TV. I love them all. Stay blessed. If all of the earth religious paths united and came together, it would solve all of the problems earth citizens experience here on earth. God is great indeed. It might take a few more life times, but step by step, precept by precept, we are getting there. Thanks to you and all of the God sent Teachers that are presently on earth 🌎.

I enjoy your teachings. I am primarily made of fire. I burn. I care a lot. I burn so much and as such I don’t lose my temper easily at all- I am the fire. I think the people who lose it are not used to burning. ❤❤❤❤
@rl9296

When one has a "fire" personality, be careful to not affect (burn) others people's lives, by forcing whatever strong will you have on others. Rather, if one builds a metal enclosure around the fire to protect others from being hurt, and add a piston on top, then the soul's flame is harnessed and it becomes a powerful engine for oneself.

Beautiful poem I'd like to share. Have a blessed day.💫💜🙏 Behind the Thunder I keep looking for one more teacher, only to find that fish learn from water and birds learn from sky. If you want to learn about the sea, it helps to be at sea. If you want to learn about compassion, it helps to be in love. If you want to learn about healing, it helps to know of suffering. The strong live in the storm, without worshipping the storm. -Mark Nepo

Thank you Rabbi for your very inspiring words. Making a beautiful place within our own space is where I am now practicing daily. It could be throwing a trash, pulling weeds by the cracks in the street or planting a tree. If everyone who heard your message will start now,our earth will be a better place for all of us. It is a United effort. I started my journey.

I am an ethnic Jew who was raised Christian. In 1998 I began a personal spiritual journey which, though I did not realize it at the time, basically amounted to me coming home to my spiritual and cultural heritage. I think my only regret so far is having not discovered your teaching at the very beginning of my journey. You answer so simply and so freely so many questions with which I was left to wrestle along the way.

I've wanted to learn about the Kabbalah for around 40 years ish, and didn't know that it taught using nature as a metaphor, which Taoism also does, and which I love and can relate to. Thank you! I should've got a pen and paper prior to listening though, which I didn't, which could be the sloth in me, but I'm also ill with covid, so I'll let that go. Thank you!

Methinks this is the issue. I've lost my positive fire. It tends to reveal itself as anger now. Moved from the city to Vancouver island (where I lived when in my 20s and 30s). Was here 10 months then lockdown hit. I produce artworks that no one sees. At 73 I don't want to put the energy into new friendships. Most of my siblings and friends have died. I don't trust my self anymore. When I enter the ocean all my troubles disappear. It's easy to meditate. I sit out on the water for hours in my SUP board. Husband sits on shore...he never joins me in the water and this gives me sadness as I watch other senior couples play in the ocean together. He's a very good person...I need his playful side ....which doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Earth - Supports you, as in you can stand on it. In my language, an "earthy" person is nice, sympathetic. Water - Balance, healing. Fills the shape of any container you put it in, just like air. Unlike air though, it always balances/evens out. Air - Gets out of your way, fills whatever emptiness you leave, is elusive, cannot be grasped (not solid), can go anywhere. Fire - The only element that isn't a "thing", but rather a process. Transition, action, heat. Should note, by the way, that when using the four elements as archetypes to describe our physiology/behaviour/personality, they take on different meanings than when we try to use them to describe things in the world (like a primitive kind of physics, similar to molecules and atoms, solids/liquids/gasses, etc). When we conflate these two usages, it becomes difficult to give the elements consistent/coherent explanations/meanings.

The water that I am, which is peace and love, compassion, but when some kind of predator kind of animal/human being prays on my water peaceful world by trying to infect it with their poison, it could be devastating. It's better to run away, retrieve back to the ocean caves instead of enraging to survive. Like you just said Rabbi our water code forbids us to be absorbed by the poison, instead, water needs to maintain the mission commanded, to bring peace and wellbeing to those who come to our beaches, our environment of nurturing and soothing those who come to our shores for inspirations.

I realize now that I am water. Every time I have an issue in my life that affects me emotionally, I dream about the ocean. Like this past couple of days I dreamed that I wanted to cross to another place, but the sea would not allow me to pass. When I tried to walk the way I was supposed to walk to go to that other place, the sea came in rage and would not allow me to go. I was afraid to pass those small waves that looked so angry coming on the path I was walking coming at the beach. They were not big waves, but just angry like and kept moving forward toward a division to that other side I wanted to go. I was afraid to walk over these angry seas water that looked like they would drag me into the ocean if I kept on going.

Many good subjects for discussion. It's very necessary for us to ground ourselves before any real change can happen. We have to go down into our cellar and fix the cracks in the foundation. The first instruction G_d gave to Moses was to remove the sandals from his feet. Is this an analogy for grounding oneself? Wherever we are standing is holy ground. Even if it might not always look that way...lol. We have the final say regardless of our circumstances, the tragedies that have come into our lives, or how poorly we've been treated by others. We have to recognize and fix our underlying issues, but for any real change to happen we first have to believe we are worthy of something better. A mind (and a life) can be changed.
