This made me cry...🥲 Life was so beautiful and these men made it even better. What great memories, thank you. 🎼🖤

I have loved this song for years, years and years. I try to visit Catalina at least once a year. Wish the Preps would come all the way to Cheyenne, WY.

I have lived in Southern California foe 54 years and been to Catalina Island only once...back in 1971. I wished I had gone more times. It was beautiful as I remember.

You must be a Big Man! How do you feel about that one? * I like it almost as much as 26 Miles. Two of the best, classic and fun '50s songs you will hear! "26 Miles" hit #2, and "Big Man" hit #3, both in the great year, 1958, which featured some of the funniest, most irrelevant, and novelty-genre songs in the history of pop music! * original on the radio here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sInHaZZnd7GjiLM

What is Jim Yester from "The Association" doing in the Four Preps?? LOL
@johnpastirchak10535 жыл бұрын
Yester replaced Bob Page, who quit the band in the late '60s. Another eye popper: on the far right is the late David Summerville who was also the lead vocalist on "Little Darling" by the Diamonds.

They have all had veneers put on their teeth. Why do men do this? It looks so weird an unattractive.
@-danR4 жыл бұрын
Well, they could be simply dentures, or some may just have their original good teeth. They certainly kept their good voices.

You can't sing a note but you just had to sing along and nearly ruin the song for the rest of us.

Naw, it wasn't bad, and not too loud; and could've been someone right beside, who knows?
