I saw this the first time it ever appeared on the TV in Australia. That was 1967. I was 16. I honestly almost threw up from laughing so hard. It still cracks me up. As I recall, the "1948" show was slightly preceded by "The Frost report". Both were brilliant and groundbreaking comedies.
