Ah good old bluth. I just watched this movie for the first time in years last night and did the pause and watch the prequel thing. This is the big part I noticed. I was like "wait a second I know this animation style. That movement, the hands, the eyes. That's bluth!" Tweed looks amazing here.

I feel so bad for Tod in this scene. He was only wanting to play with the chicks, not cause mischief nor trouble. He had not expected for the mother hen to chase him nor the cow to get spooked and knock over the pail of milk. Even though this scene is meant for laughs, I find it sad instead.

I can see what you mean, but he did get some nice milk in that scene and at the end of the movie, he fell in love and solidified his lifelong friendship. I think there is not enough lessons like this in movies for younger people anymore. It’s all too fake and unrealistic with the goal to make everyone happy. Cartoons used to bring some reality to kids that may not have sank in for years, but it eventually did. Now- idk what we are teaching now. Confusion and immediate satisfaction that isn’t realistic.

I got an explanation for that. If you watch bluth design characters he mentions how he likes to over exaggerate the eyes as you tend to focus on them and then what they're looking at. The faces his characters make in the inbetweens are hilarious but that's why they move so well. Tweed never moves this well after those scene. He's just so good at making fat old ladies move.

I don't actually understand as to why people think Foxes are so wild. After working with dogs for over three years, I've come to learn that if u can make accommodations for dogs, u can for foxes as well. Chasing chickens... Pfft, ever own a huskie or red heeler? Red Heelers are technically just as wild. Cats too man jeez, cats are especially wild. N' u know what, I've seen people who have raccoons, bears and hell monitor lizards on youtube.
