Yeah. I think the main reason why there's war in the Middle East is mostly because of politics. Not religion. I heard when Cordoba in Spain was still controlled by the Muslims, Christians, Muslims and Jews were all living peacefully together.

From what I've read, Queen Hatshepsut also had a fondness for myrrh as a personal perfume. One of the relics from her is actually a small perfume jar, and within there remains an unguent of myrrh. Joann Fletcher's documentary, The Lost Queens of Egypt, shows the jar and she is even permitted to take a sniff and reports that, to this day, the fragrance is lovely.

I don’t understand why she doesn’t mention Somalia in this documentary . History describes that the ancient Egyptians used to get frankincense from the land of punt which modern day is Somalia. Northern region of Somalia is known for having the best frankincense which is which is cut from the boswellia Sacra or known as carterii...

As a Christian (I'm Catholic), I hope the monk said "We are an Apostolic Church" rather than saying "Biblical Church" which to me is very Protestant. The Holy Scripture is important in the Church but it isn't our only source of truth. We also have Apostolic Succession which can only be claimed by the Orthodox, Oriental, Coptic, and Catholic churches.

Very good and informative video, but Ethiopian Frankincense is the most superior incense in the world and history. The Nubians, Egyptians, Mesopotamians & even the Israelites coveted Ethiopian frankincense. Ethiopia is the source of the Blue Nile, (fertility) of the region. Osiris was a real person from Ethiopia, sent to the Ethiopian colonies: Nubia & Egypt to establish law & order. Read the Bible & ancient Egyptian/Greek manuscripts. Also, there is a difference between Bakhor & Luban (Arabic).

+Alex I thought that if there was a sandstorm or sand got swept up at night that it wouldn't get in someone's eyes. If it went from feet up, then the sand might get in easier, and get stuck in the lower eyelashes. Also, isn't there a strange belief from somewhere that if you sleep facing North is good luck or protects you from bad things such as bad or mischievious spirits or curses? I like that people have specific actions for certain actions. Such as pray to what we know as Mecca (and I've seen most documentaries wrongly say to face east because the sun rises from that direction. Although I think the direction of the sun changes with depending where you are). It is interesting to see and learn from different cultures, and even better to not have to pay the travel costs (and I struggle to travel, and I struggle with bright lights/bright sun, and high temperatures due to medical conditions). Long live documentaries!
