As a fellow german its nice to see Franz getting some attention. He is a textbook definition of a swiss army knife. He can do basically everything, but he isnt really "elite top 10 in the league" at anything. He is a good driver, but he isnt SGA, or Brunson, Zion, Luka, Cunningham... He can shoot, but he is no Curry, or Herro, or Edwards or White... He can playmake, but he is no Jokic, or Luka, or Haliburton, or Young... you get the point. If anything he is closest to an elite level on defense. Cause he can defend basically 1 to 5 at least decently. But will he ever win a DPOY? As of now, no chance. But I am sure he can reach the All Defense team a couple of times. So is he a true Franchise player you can built a contender around? I dont think so. But he is a perfect co star and 2nd option. And I would bet every team in the league would like to have him. I sure as hell would love to see him on the Mavs, even if thats basically impossible.
