Luyen Dao yeah I heard this song on the 9/11 vids and that sounds more realistic because my dad was there at the Twin Towers that day and I was worried about him and I was only 5

Luyen Dao at least I'm glad my dad is still alive and I'm almost 22 now. I'm turning 22 in March. It's going to be 20 years since 9/11 in 2021, when I turn 25. And if my dad had died during 9/11 I wouldn't have had my education now.

I like how everyone is having fun to a very sad depressing song, like really? It's too sad to be on a New Years party, but hey atleast it's catchy and nice to listen to
@theotherside49983 жыл бұрын
To all people who are bothered by people who are dancing to this song, Do you realize that the song's melody is catchy? It's not like that the fact when I get to listen to this song, It's all angst and too depressing but instead all I hear is just an upbeat and catchy tone from the band. One, I'm not an expert at reading people's minds or emotions but I'm sure that they do know the meaning of this song obviously the lead singer fucking talked about the various points of a young troubled person who was friends with him that is depressed and committed suicide and wrote a song about that. Two, It's New Year's Eve at the time so what do you guys expect? It's in the video title, It's not Isaac's or his band fault that they made a catchy song like 'How to Save a Life' to make people feel the opposite way of happiness. What do you honestly expect if I hear this song? Sit down and started crying or just stand there listening to the song or dancing to it? I'd pick the second and third option if necessary because the song would change mood in an instant when you listen to the lyrics carefully while listening the melody at the same time. And three, Should I have reconsider my own sanity that I'm literally dancing to a song about someone committing suicide? No, Because everyone who was in that stage with The Fray obviously knew what the lyrics meant or just say 'Fuck the lyrics, The song's catchy and shit'. So, Make that a happy time instead of a sad time in New Year's Eve because you should be glad that you lived your life to the fullest from January to December. It's not their fault that they picked the song that everybody recognized them, But doing that while not minding the lyrics.... It's pretty good.
@emilgoubasarian98228 жыл бұрын
Ok why this song on New Year's Eve? And WHY THE FUCK are they dancing?

"here's something you don't see everyday, a rock group that features a piano" seriously, journey, foreigner, queen, toto, billy joel, blue rodeo, Chris de burgh, Elvis, Gerry Rafferty, Gowan, Kansas, the list goes on and on, pianos have been in rock since rock began, it's not at all uncommon or "something you don't see everyday" don't say stupid shit on tv without knowing what the hell you talking about!

I think you guys don’t understand thag dancing doesn’t have to mean pure bliss and happiness. Dancing is expressing emotion. This is not a heavy party song. Everyone is correct on that. But this is a song that has brought the beauty of humanity together. That’s why they are dancing. Where did we go wrong…
