This hits hard. Lost a best friend last year. We had the best times of our lives during the 90s. We grew apart after I had a family. He had called me a few times to get together. I always had something more important. I know I could have saved him if I wasn't so selfish. RIP Stevie. I'll see you again. Love you brother

To be fair, its really difficult to understand the lyrics when people sing like this. Most need to read along with the lyrics.

I've been watching a lot of reactions to this song, it's refreshing to see someone actually enjoy the melody and beat of this song rather than be emotionally affected by the lyrics. Proves the superiority of this song musicality wise.

All the songs by the fray are so good I always wondered why they stopped making music. Also anything that contains my favorite musician Chris Cornell sound garden, Audioslave, Chris doing covers of anything is amazing I miss him Noone sings like him anymore

I always think of Away From The Sun when I listen to this song for some reason - similar messages and came out around the same time. Both meant a lot to me as a struggling high school student.

This isn't the first one it's happened with but I just can't take anyone seriously who bops along to serious songs like this. I get not everyone listens intently to lyrics but some of these are just oblivious. It's good that he's enjoying so much of the music he's listening to though, just would be nice to appreciate the writing as well as some songs a lot of effort goes into the message and it's just seeminly being missed.
@xXnostalgicXx Жыл бұрын
You know damn well this style of singing is difficult to understand, everything just runs together if you aren’t following along with the lyrics
