With all due respect as thoughtful as Zach tried to come off I’m not sure he listened to this ep. To say it sounds like the old Fray when it’s not piano driven pop rock is an odd comment. And to ask, “what changed” is again, a really strange question. To ask if they need to do it for financial reasons is an insane question to ask, that made me uncomfortable, and to say people forget the mid 2000s when nostalgia is as popular as ever (and then do say that right after) is just so odd. Wasn’t a fan of Zach for most of the interview. With that said, I love hearing from the guys. What a great story they have to tell. What an incredible band. One of the best to ever do it. I love Joe fronting this band so much. Listen to the songs he sings lead for on past fest albums. Listen to his ep under KING, and listen to Union Moon. Best of luck guys! See you soon!

The Fray has moved away from piano rock. Helio's was released in 2014 when Isaac was still in the band.

Woof. I came back months later to see if Zach is any better at interviewing. And what I discovered is hes great when he has done proper research, likes the people/person, etc. But garbage if hes not prepared.

They were 10/10 with Isaac as the lead. They’re 4/10 now. Period. Anyone saying otherwise is tone deaf or just lying
