I really needed to hear this. I surrendered a 5 year relationship that shouldn’t have lasted that long. It’s been almost 2 years since I ended it and I needed to be reminded that God wouldn’t have taken me out of it if He didn’t have something better for me. Thank you Jesus for kept promises and I surrender it all again today💛

I had been trapped in a relationship that wasn't right for me and stayed in a job way too long because I didn't know what else I wanted to do or what I could do. Then in early 2021, that job was taken away from me when the store was forced to close, and I had to get a different job. This one is so far outside my comfort zone that I can't see it! But God is doing amazing things in me because of this new ob.

It's funny because they make it sound like starting over is so easy!! What if God pulls you out of something or a situation when you don't have a back up plan?? I've been working full time for the past 7 years post undergrad and felt the calling to go back to school and pursue a higher degree. I feel like I have chosen a path that is less traveled. A lot of people these days are disregarding higher education degrees like no one needs them, but I don't feel like I can be compliant and stay where I am. I don't know the Masters' story, but maybe them finding eachother gave them more hope and more stability once they got married. I'm single and supporting myself, so I constantly feel like I have to do things on my own! Regardless, I've been watching your devotionals everyday the past 3 days!! Thanks so much for sharing! I have been feeling stuck in my job at a grocery store. I'm 37 years old and I have this fear that I will be stuck there and that it's God's plan for me to stay where I am making minimum wage and not do what I really want to do which is to work as a recording artist. I don't expect to make much more money but at least I'll be doing what I love. I've been in deep prayer about this, would y'all please join me?
