I really like your single-book vlogs! This was one of my favorite books in the year I read it. Mostly because the humor is exactly the kind I like, and I'm an author so I really related to those aspects. I'm so glad this brought me to Nunez, I've since read a couple of her other books and loved them as well.

I read What Are You Going Through by Nunez as my last TBR Tackle book! It was also a lot about grief. Not much about writing. That idea of photos or writing, images, replacing actual memories is terrifying to me. I think it's true but it gives me a weird dread and I can't think about it too much. I worried that the dog was hurt or died in The Friend. From this review it doesn't sounds like it?
