I live in San Diego and have lived in Buffalo. San Diego is a nice place to live but people are far from friendly. I miss Buffalo friendliness, acceptance and positivity. While growing up in Buffalo, I always thought I could share my opinions and didn't have to worry about political persecution and ostracization. Over there in Buffalo people plowed neighbors' snow as a nice gesture but here it's hard even just to talk to your next door neighbors.

I agree! I live in San Diego and have done for around 6 years now.. the people are nice on the surface but they want you at a distance! Don’t expect any new friendships to be made in SD.. just acquaintances who only ever say “we should do lunch”! I can’t wait to leave!!!!

Telluride is one of the very best places to visit here in Colorado. It’s a bit of a drive to get there but you can now take commercial flights into the regional airport (TEX). Honestly, I think all Colorado mountain towns have friendly and welcoming folk. Come visit!

Wow I’m so pleasantly surprised of seeing buffalo NY up on this list. I’m from NYC and took a roadtrip to buffalo in Nov. of 2020 . I couldn’t believe I was still technically in NEW YORK. Those people felt more like Canadians so nice and friendly! It’s very underrated and that’s just due to the winters. Other than that it’s perfect. Visited Niagara Falls went to the bill stadium (THE REAL NY football team) lol. And the food was so good! I didn’t realize how diverse it was. I ate delicious Thai food and ethiopian food at this cultural market and then of course buffalo wings😋.
